Preparations are complete, and Minfilia asks you to accompany her as the last to leave the Waking Sands.

Requirements

This quest is available if you have completed the quest On the Properties of Primals.

Starting the Quest

Talk to Minfilia in the Waking Sands in Vesper Bay in Western Thanalan to begin the quest.

Speak with Urianger

Exit the Solar and go north and talk to Urianger. There will be a cutscene.

Search for the White-Robed Ascian

Go outside to Vesper Bay. Go east to the orange circle marked on the map. The white-robed figure is near the top of the stairs that lead down to the Waking Sands. Approach him and there will be a cutscene.

Follow the White-Robed Ascian

Go north to the orange circle marked on the map. Dismount and enter the purple circle. Kill the three Brutish Imps that appear.

Go north and follow the path to the next purple circle. Dismount and enter it. Kill the Gruesome Gargoyle that appears.

Go north to the next purple circle. Dismount and enter it. Kill the two Gnarled Gargoyles that appear.

Approach the White-Robed Ascian

Go north to the orange circle on the map. Dismount and enter the purple circle there. Kill the two Ascian Conjurers, then the two Ascian Thaumaturges.

Speak with the White-Robed Ascian

Talk to the white-robed Ascian. There will be a cutscene.

Report to Minfilia

Go back into the Waking Sands and talk to Minfilia to complete the quest.

Next Main Scenario Quest

After you complete the quest, talk to Minfilia to accept the next quest: Build on the Stone.
