Ser Laniaitte asks you to assist Ser Marielle to learn more about the attacks from the Vanu Vanu tribe.

Requirements

This quest is available if you have completed the quest An Indispensable Ally.

Starting the Quest

Talk to Laniaitte in the Sea of Clouds to begin the quest.

Speak with Marielle

Go up the large wooden stairway next to Laniaitte and go west to the quest icon on the map. Talk to Marielle to proceed.

Keep Watch for Vanu

Go north down the rope net, then go northeast to the nearest quest icon on the map and check the sparkling Destination. Defeat the Nat'noii Gundu and the Vuk'noii Gundu that attack.

Go east to the next quest icon on the map and check on the sparkling Destination.

Go northeast up the slope, then go north to the next quest icon and check on the sparkling Destination. Defeat the Vuk'noii Gundu and the Lan'noii Gundu that attack.

Report to Marielle

Go south down the slope, and make your way southwest to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap. Go up the wooden stairs or the rope net and go to the quest icon, and talk to Marielle to complete the quest.

Next Main Scenario Quest

After you complete the quest, talk to Marielle to accept the next quest: Sense of Urgency.
