Pauline needs you to help reduce the number of anoles in the area and gather their eggs.

Requirements

This quest is only available if you started the game in Gridania, you have completed the quest Surveying the Damage, and have reached level 9.

Starting the Quest

To start the quest, talk to Pauline inside of Gabineaux's Bower in the Central Shroud.

Obtain an Egg and Slay Three Anoles

The area where you can find anoles will be marked on your map and minimap. Go there and slay the requisite number of anoles. You will then need to explore the area to find an Anole Egg. It is near the center of the circle on the map, behind a couple of rocks.

Report to Pauline

After you have killed three anoles and gotten an egg, go back to Pauline in Gabineaux's Bower.

Deliver the Egg to Tsubh Khamazom

Go to the green checkmark on the map and talk to Tsubh Khamazom to hand over the egg and complete the quest.

Next Main Scenario Quest

After completing the quest, talk to Galfrid to accept the next quest: Spirithold Broken.
