Marcechamp warns you of the Gnath to the west, who have become increasingly violent lately.

Requirements

This quest is available if you have completed the quest Where the Chocobos Roam.

Starting the Quest

Talk to Marcechamp in the Dravanian Forelands to begin the quest.

Speak with Ysayle

Talk to Ysayle and there will be a cutscene.

Proceed to the Stained One

Go outside and walk north in the stream to exit the town, then go northeast to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap. Go to the eastern side of the orange circle, then dismount and enter the purple circle. First defeat the Marching Cultivator, then the two Marching Steeldrones.

Then go west to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap. Go to the center of the orange circle, then dismount and enter the purple circle. First defeat the Marching Firedrone, then the Marching Steeldrone.

Press on to the Stained One

Go south to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap. Go to the center of the orange circle and you will find the sparkling Destination nearby. Check on it and there will be a cutscene.

Next Main Scenario Quest

After you complete the quest, talk to Ysayle to accept the next quest: The Trine Towers.
