Staelwyrn needs your assistance finding some of his hired hands who have gone astray.

Requirements

This quest is only available if you started the game in Limsa Lominsa, you have completed the quest Lurkers in the Grotto, and have reached level 7.

Starting the Quest

Talk to Staelwyrn in Middle La Noscea to begin the quest.

Speak with the Slacking Yeomen

After you accept the quest, various orange markers will be visible on the map and minimap. Search these areas to find the NPCs who have quest markers over their heads. The orange markers on the map will show up or down arrows if the quest NPCs are higher or lower than your current location.

One NPC is Wauter, standing next to a wagon northeast of the Summerford Farms aetheryte. You will get a dialogue choice when you talk to him. The choice doesn't affect anything, so choose whichever one you want. You will learn a bit about conditions at Summerford Farms.

Another NPC is Sozai Rarzai, who is just outside of the gate to Summerford Farms. You will get another dialogue choice. Choose whichever one you want.

Another NPC is Sevrin, who is leaning on a rock near the orange orchard southeast of Summerford Farms.

For the next two NPCs, go west and cross the bridge over the Agelyss River, then go east. You will find Aylmer sitting against the wooden fence, looking at the river. Again, choose whichever dialogue option you wish.

Finally, go farther east to find Eyrimhus. Choose whichever dialogue option you wish.

Report to Staelwyrn

After this, Staelwyrn will have a green check mark over his head. Make your way back to Summerford Farms and talk to him to complete the quest.

Next Main Scenario Quest

After completing the quest, you will need to be at least level 8 to proceed to the next quest. After you reach level 8, talk to Staelwyrn to accept the next quest: Double Dealing.
