Just as you are about to proceed to The Peaks, you learn of a new threat that must be dealt with first.

Requirements

This quest is available if you have completed the quest Rising Fortunes, Rising Spirits.

Starting the Quest

Talk to Alphinaud at the Peering Stones in The Fringes to begin the quest.

Speak with Sarisha

Go northwest to the archway in the wall, and make your way down through the cave. Then go northeast along the dirt road and it will lead you to the Vira village. Go through the gate, then go to the quest icon on the map and talk to Sarisha. There will be a cutscene.

Speak with Vajra

Talk to Vajra to complete the quest.

Aether Current Quest

With the completion of this quest, you can now start the blue quest "Unexpected Guests" in The Fringes. Completing that quest will attune you to an Aether Current in this area.

Next Main Scenario Quest

After you complete the quest, talk to Vajra to accept the next quest: The Lady of Bliss.
