Requirements

This quest is available if you have completed the quest The Resonant.

Starting the Quest

Talk to Alphinaud in The Lochs to begin the quest.

Speak with Arenvald

Go south and make your way to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap. Check on the Aetheryte to attune to it, then talk to Arenvald.

Speak with Raubahn

After you have attuned to the nearby Aetheryte, teleport to Porta Praetoria in The Lochs, or go west to the gate and talk to the Ala Mhigan Resistance Gate Guard and say Yes to go outside, and make your way northwest to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap from there.

Talk to Raubahn and there will be a cutscene.

Speak with Alphinaud

Talk to Alphinaud to proceed.

Speak with Kan-E-Senna, Merlwyb, and Aymeric

Go to each of the quest icons on the map to talk to Kan-E-Senna, Merlwyb, and Aymeric.

Speak with Raubahn Again

Go to the quest icon on the map and talk to Raubahn to complete the quest. There will be a cutscene.

Aether Current Quests

With the completion of this quest, you can now start two blue quests, each of which unlocks an Aether Current in The Lochs. The quests are as follows.

• Are They Ill Tempered
• If I Were A Fish

Next Main Scenario Quest

After you complete the quest, you will need to be at least level 70 to proceed to the next quest. After you reach level 70, talk to Raubahn to accept the next quest: The Measure of His Reach.
