Requirements

This quest is available if you have completed the quest Scouts in Distress.

Starting the Quest

Talk to Falkbryda in Western La Noscea to begin the quest. There will be a cutscene.

Go Through the First Checkpoint

Go northwest to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap. Dismount and enter the glowing purple circle. Kill the Shelfclaw Guard and Shelfscale Guard that appear.

Go Through the Second Checkpoint

Go to the orange circle on the map. Dismount and enter the glowing purple circle. Kill the Shelfscale Guard and Shelfspine Guard that appear. After that, kill the Shelftooth Guard and Shelfclaw Guard that appear.

Go Through the Final Checkpoint

Go to the orange circle on the map. Dismount and enter the glowing purple circle. Kill the Shelftooth Guard, Shelfspine Guard, and the Drowned Swordsman that appear.

Rejoin Y'shtola

Go west and talk to Y'shtola to proceed. There will be a cutscene.

Speak with Merlwyb

Talk to Merlwyb to complete the quest.

Next Main Scenario Quest

After you complete the quest, talk to Merlwyb to accept the next quest: Into the Heart of the Whorl.
