Minfilia asks you to investigate rumors of the masked man in the North Shroud.

Requirements

This quest is available if you have completed the quest Back to Square One.

Starting the Quest

Talk to Minfilia in the Waking Sands in Vesper Bay in Western Thanalan to begin the quest.

Speak with Noraxia

Exit the solar and go north to the storage room and talk to Noraxia.

Speak with Medrod at Fallgourd Float

If you haven't been to the North Shroud before, go to Gridania and use the main Aetheryte to go to the North Shroud via the Yellow Serpent Gate. Medrod is in a building to the east of the Fallgourd Float Aetheryte. Talk to him to proceed.

Try to /soothe Medrod

Target Medrod and type /soothe or /soothe motion (the second one will not display a chat message) to complete the quest. There will be a cutscene.

Next Main Scenario Quest

After you complete the quest, you will need to be at least level 28 to proceed to the next quest. After you reach level 28, talk to Aideen to accept the next quest: Ziz is So Ridiculous.
