Starting the Quest

Talk to Thaffe in Amh Araeng to begin the quest.

Speak with Thaffe

Go southwest to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap. Talk to Thaffe to proceed.

Speak with Thaffe Again

Go south along the ground (not on the rail) to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap. Talk to Thaffe to proceed. Defeat the Gibbering Coyote that attacks.

Search for Thaffe

Go south across the bridge, then go west to the orange circle on the map. Dismount and enter the purple circle, then defeat the two Longneck Phorusrhacos that attack.

Speak with Thaffe Once More

Talk to Thaffe to proceed.

Speak with Thaffe Once More, Again

Go west to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap. Talk to Thaffe to proceed.

Speak with Magnus

Go south onto the porch with Sveinn and Tofrith, and enter the building. Talk to Magnus to proceed. There will be a cutscene. This one is important, so it is recommended to watch it either now or via the Unending Journey in an inn room.

Speak with Minfilia

Go outside and talk to Minfilia to complete the quest.

After you complete the quest, talk to Minfilia to accept the next quest: On Track.
