While Alphinaud and Ilberd conclude their investigation into Roaille's escape, you report back to Minfilia.

This quest is available if you have completed the quest The Reason Roaille.

Starting the Quest

Talk to Alphinaud in Northern Thanalan to begin the quest.

Report to Minfilia

Go north to reach Mor Dhona, then go northeast to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap. Enter the Rising Stones, then enter the Solar. Talk to Minfilia to complete the quest. There will be a cutscene. This one is important, so it is recommended to watch it either now or via the Unending Journey in an inn room.

Next Main Scenario Quest

After you complete the quest, you will need to have completed the following series of quests to proceed.

1. A Recurring Problem
2. Ifrit Bleeds, We Can Kill It
3. In for Garuda Awakening
4. In a Titan Spot

Once you have completed those quests and the duties associated with them, talk to Minfilia to accept the next quest: Good Intentions. There will be a cutscene.
