Glaumunt has a grudge against Garlemald and is eager to give advice on how to rescue your friends.

Requirements

This quest is available if you have completed the quest Come-Into-My-Castrum.

Starting the Quest

Talk to Glaumunt in Revenant's Toll in Mor Dhona to begin the quest.

Investigate the Drainage Pipe

Go southwest from Glaumunt and go through the southwestern gate of Revenant's Toll. Make your way southwest toward where the orange arrow is pointing on the minimap. To reach the drainage pipe, use the route shown in the map below.

Once there, examine the purple glowing Drainage Pipe. Kill the four Chigoes that appear.

Eavesdrop at the Drainage Pipe

Examine the Drainage Pipe. There will be a cutscene.

Speak with Alphinaud

Go back the way you came, to return to Revenant's Toll. Talk to Alphinaud.

Speak with Cid

Talk to Cid to complete the quest.

Next Main Scenario Quest

After you complete the quest, there are two quests that you have to do before you can proceed. You will need to be at least level 46 to start these quests. After you reach level 46, do the following quests to proceed in the story:

• Talk to Cid to accept Drowning Out the Voices
• Talk to Glaumunt to accept Acting the Part.
