This page explains how to complete the level 90 Endwalker quest "Forge Ahead".

Requirements

This quest is available if you have completed the quest Hello, World.

Starting the Quest

Talk to Alphinaud in Ultima Thule to begin the quest.

Speak with Alphinaud

Teleport to Base Omicron, or go northwest to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap, and go to the quest icon. Talk to Alphinaud to proceed.

Speak with Alphinaud and Have Him Accompany You

Check on the Lambent Portal and say Yes to proceed, then talk to Alphinaud.

Speak with Alisaie while Accompanied by Alphinaud

Talk to Alisaie to proceed.

Follow the Crystalline Path

Go southwest and you will find a crystalline path that is not displayed on the map. Proceed along this path, optionally stopping at the 💬 along the way and talking to Alphinaud and Alisaie while standing in the glowing circles. Then make your way southwest along the crystalline path and it will turn northwest. Eventually, you will reach a winding stone path that is displayed on the map. Go northeast along this path until you can go west to the orange circle on the map. Stand in the glowing spot at the orange circle on the map and talk to Alphinaud to proceed. There will be a cutscene.

Speak with Alphinaud Again

Talk to Alphinaud to complete the quest.

Next Main Scenario Quest

After you complete the quest, talk to Alisaie to accept the next quest: You're Not Alone.
