Starting the Quest

Talk to Gibrillont in the Forgotten Knight in Ishgard to begin the quest.

Speak with the Brume Starveling

Go down the stairs in the Forgotten Knight and go out the back door, and go to the orange circle in the map. The Brume Starveling is in the east side of the orange circle. Talk to her to proceed. Say that you are looking for a mongrel with ruby red eyes and raven black hair.

Speak with Alphinaud

You can either go west and go up the stairs near the Brume Aethernet Shard, walk along the stone wall, and go up the next set of stairs to reach the back entrance of the Forgotten Knight, or you can use the Brume Aethernet Shard to go to the Forgotten Knight Aethernet Shard and go through the front door. Then go to the quest icon on the map and talk to Alphinaud to complete the quest.

Next Main Scenario Quest

After you complete the quest, you will need to be at least level 57 to proceed to the next quest. After you reach level 57, talk to Alphinaud to accept the next quest: Fire and Blood.
