After one of the Ala Mhigan youths is brutally attacked by the criminal gang known as the Corpse Brigade, you fear that Wilred and the youths who follow him will do something drastic.

Requirements

This quest is available if you have completed the quest Wilred Wants You.

Starting the Quest

Talk to Gundobald in Little Ala Mhigo in Southern Thanalan to begin the quest.

Ascertain the Youths' Intentions

There are two orange circles marked on the map, and there are five things to interact with. First, you can go south and look behind the tent to find a Map of Zanr'ak. Then go northeast through the tunnel, east past the Aetheryte, and southeast through the tunnel and talk to the Riled Lass on the lower level. Go northeast and look behind the tent near Silfrid to find a Hunting Knife. Then go northwest and go up the ramp to the upper level, where you can go southwest to talk to the Riled Youth, and finally, go southeast and talk to Wilred.

Deliver the Clues

Go back to the southwest side of Little Ala Mhigo and talk to Gundobald.

Speak with Wilred

Go out by the southwest gate, then go east, then northeast until you can go down the ledge and reach Wilred. There will be a glow around him, indicating an instanced battle. Check on him and there will be a cutscene, and then the battle will ensue.

Solo Duty: Big Trouble in Little Ala Mhigo

It is recommended to defeat the enemies in the following order:

1. Lancer
2. Pugilists
3. (more enemies appear when the above are defeated)
4. Lancer
5. Pugilist
6. Battle Drake
7. Tempered Pikemen
8. Ala Mhigan Conscripts
9. Lavafang Hemozz Teh

After the battle, there will be a cutscene.

Speak with Gundobald

Go back to Gundobald in Little Ala Mhigo and talk to him to complete the quest. There will be a cutscene.

Next Main Scenario Quest

After you complete the quest, talk to Gundobald to accept the next quest: Back to Square One.
