Slowfix asks you to search for his missing friend who ventured into the territory of the hostile goblin tribe, the Illuminati.

Requirements

This quest is available if you have completed the quest Golems Begone.

Starting the Quest

Talk to Slowfix in Idyllshire to begin the quest.

Search for Slowfix's Friend

If you attuned to the Aethernet Shard in the western part of Idyllshire, you can use the main Aetheryte of Idyllshire to go to the Eastern Hinterlands via the Epilogue Gate. Alternatively, you can go south from Slowfix, then southeast through the large archway, and continue southeast to reach the Eastern Hinterlands.

Go south along the paved road, then turn left when the road splits. Proceed down the bridge, and take the left fork in the road, followed by the right fork to reach the orange circle on the map. Go to the southeast edge of the orange circle to find Brayflox. There will be a glow around her, indicating an instanced battle. Check on her and there will be a cutscene, and then the battle will ensue.

Solo Duty: An Illuminati Incident

The enemy goblins can be defeated in any order, but focus on those that are attacking you before moving on to the goblins attacking your allies.

When bombs appear, attack the ones near you with multi-target attacks to knock them away from you and your allies.

Afterward, use multi-target attacks to kill the goblins attacking you and your allies, particularly the goblins attacking Y'shtola, so she can finish casting her spell.

After the battle, there will be a cutscene.

Speak with Y'shtola

Return to Idyllshire, either by going northwest to the bridge, crossing it, and going northwest to Idyllshire, or by teleporting there if you attuned to the Idyllshire Aetheryte earlier. Go to the quest icon on the map and talk to Slowfix to complete the quest.

Aether Current Quest

With the completion of this quest, you can now start the blue quest "Ebb and Aetherflow" in Idyllshire. Completing that quest will attune you to an Aether Current in the Dravanian Hinterlands.

Next Main Scenario Quest

After you complete the quest, talk to Slowfix to accept the next quest: Leaving Idyllshire. There will be a cutscene.
