You prepare to go to the Ruby Bazaar to meet with Tataru and Hancock after your return from Yanxia.

This quest is available if you have completed the quest The World Turned Upside Down.

Starting the Quest

Talk to Alphinaud in Kugane to begin the quest.

Return to the Ruby Bazaar

Go south along the dock until you can go east, and go up the stairs. Go east and up the stairs to reach the Kogane Dori Aethernet Shard. Use it to go to the Ruby Bazaar. Go up the stairs and into the building, and talk to the East Aldenard Trading Company Aide. Say Yes to enter the Ruby Bazaar Offices. There will be a cutscene.

Speak with Tataru

Check on the Exit to leave the room, then go outside and use the nearby Aethernet Shard to go to the Shiokaze Hostelry. Go to the quest icon on the map and talk to Tataru. There will be a cutscene. This one is important, so it is recommended to watch it either now or via the Unending Journey in an inn room.

Speak with Lyse

Talk to Lyse to complete the quest.

Next Main Scenario Quest

After you complete the quest, talk to Alphinaud to accept the next quest: While You Were Away. There will be a cutscene.
