This page explains how to complete the level 86 Endwalker quest "A Sentimental Gift".

Requirements

This quest is available if you have completed the quest Aether to Aether.

Starting the Quest

Talk to Hermes in Elpis to begin the quest.

Speak with Meteion and Have Her Accompany You

Talk to Meteion to proceed.

Examine Flowers at the Twelve Wonders

Go east to the quest icon and check on the sparkling Tree in Bloom.

Then go east to the next quest icon and check on the sparkling Slender Tree.

Look for Flowers while Accompanied by Meteion

Go north to the quest icon on the map and check on the sparkling Flower Bed.

Then go northwest to the next quest icon on the map and check on the sparkling Familiar Plant.

Go west to the next quest icon and check on the sparkling Junction.

Go southwest to the next quest icon and check on the sparkling Malodorous Grass.

Before you proceed, use the Aether Compass (Main Menu > Duty > Collection) to find an Aether Current to the northwest.

Go southwest to the next quest icon and check on the sparkling Lush Fields.

Go south to the next quest icon and check on the sparkling Shiny Object. There will be a cutscene.

Aether Current Quest

You can now start the blue quest "You and the Ailouros" in Elpis. Completing that quest will attune you to an Aether Current in this area.

Speak with Meteion

Back in the Twelve Wonders, talk to Meteion to complete the quest. There will be a cutscene.

Next Main Scenario Quest

After you complete the quest, talk to Hermes to accept the next quest: Verdict and Execution.
