Requirements

This quest is available if you have completed the quest The Promise of a New Beginning.

Starting the Quest

Talk to Alphinaud in Rhalgr's Reach to begin the quest.

Speak with Lyse

Go to the quest icon on the map and talk to Lyse. Afterward, go north and attune to the Aetheryte Shard there if you have not yet done so.

Afterward, go southwest to the small ramp and go up, and go northwest to the quest icon on the map. Talk to Lyse and there will be a cutscene.

Afterward, go south, then southwest when the path splits. Go down the ramp at the end, and from there, go west to the Aethernet Shard and attune to it if you have not yet done so. Then go northwest to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap. Talk to Lyse.

Afterward, go southeast to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap. Attune to the Aetheryte if you haven't already, then talk to Lyse.

After you have attuned to the Aetheryte, go north to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap. Talk to Lyse to complete the quest.

Next Main Scenario Quest

After you complete the quest, talk to Alisaie to accept the next quest: A Bargain Struck. There will be a cutscene.
