You successfully completed the trial of the Tholls, and Xamott is ready to discuss the gathering of ore.

This quest is available if you have completed the quest Meet the Tholls.

Starting the Quest

Talk to Xamott in Kholusia to begin the quest. There will be a cutscene. This one is important, so it is recommended to watch it either now or via the Unending Journey in an inn room.

Speak with Korutt

There will be a glow around Korutt, indicating a solo duty. Check on him and there will be a cutscene, and then the duty will ensue.

Solo Duty: A-Digging We Will Go

Part 1

Follow Korutt. When two Forgiven Cowardice appear, kill the one on the left (the one that the Crystal Exarch does not attack). When it is dead, kill the one attacking the Crystal Exarch.

When Korutt continues onward, follow him. When three sin eaters appear, attack the Forgiven Deceit and keep it facing away from the others. Soon, another Forgiven Deceit appears behind Korutt. For now, focus on killing the first Forgiven Deceit. When it is gone, attack the second Forgiven Deceit. After it is gone, kill the remaining Forgiven Flattery.

When Korutt continues, follow him. When more sin eaters appear, only attack the ones that are attacking Korutt. Kill the rest after they are gone.

Follow Korutt when he continues. When Korutt and the Crystal Exarch stop, go east toward the metal bridge. When you are attacked by more sin eaters, make them all attack you, then pull them into the blue circle that eventually appears. Continue attacking them until they are defeated. There will be a cutscene.

Part 2

Pull the sin eaters away from Korutt and keep them a distance away from him and facing away from him. When all sin eaters are defeated and more sin eaters appear, start by dealing with the Forgiven Flattery that are attacking the Exarch. During this time, when Korutt has a stack marker on him, stack together with Korutt to reduce the damage.

When each of you has a circle attack marker on you that follows you, move away from your allies to avoid overlapping. Defeat the Forgiven Prejudice and enter the stack marker if there is another one.

After the Forgiven Prejudice dies, a Forgiven Enmity will appear, and will tether to Korutt. The Crystal Exarch will take the tether. Don't try to take the tether, because you will be unable to, and you will take damage for no reason. Afterward, pull the Forgiven Enmity away from your allies and keep the it facing away from them. After a while, the Forgiven Enmity will stun you. Just wait for the stun to be removed, then resume attacking.

When the Forgiven Enmity is defeated, the duty will be complete.
