The Fell Court of Troia - Dungeon Guide

This page explains how to complete the level 90 post-Endwalker duty, The Fell Court of Troia.

How to Unlock

The Fell Court of Troia, a 4-player dungeon, is unlocked by the level 90 Main Scenario Quest In Search of Azdaja.

Evil Dreamers

There will be many Evil Dreamer heads that continue to appear throughout the battle. The tank should make sure to use multi-target attacks on these enemies to try to prevent them from attacking the non-tank players.

Sometimes, an arc of Evil Dreamers will appear along the edge, or a number of Evil Dreamers will appear evenly spaced around the edge, and each will have a dark orb in front if it. They will soon cast line attacks across the area in the direction that they are facing, so make sure that you are not standing in front of any of them. After they perform their line attacks, they become targetable, and the tank should use multi-target attacks on them.

Void Gravity marks all players with circle attack markers that follow them. Players should spread apart from each other to avoid overlapping each other with their circles.

When a line of Evil Dreamers appears along an edge, a number of Evil Dreamers will appear throughout the area and begin casting Unite Mare, a circle attack centered on each head. Players should stay together at a side of the area that is not in the path of the line of heads along the edge, and choose one of the targetable heads to destroy in order to give you a safe area to stand in.

Eventually, a giant head appears in the center and begins to slowly cast Endless Nightmare. You must defeat the giant head before it finishes casting this.

During this time, three untargetable heads will each cast circle attacks centered on themselves, and one or more heads will pull tethered heads toward themselves. Keep your distance from the heads that are tethered to other heads, because their circle attack will become much larger than its original size.

Beatrice

Eye of Troia is a shrinking ring with gaze attack eyes on it. A gaze attack, Death Foreseen, will occur at the center of this ring as soon as the ring has shrunk all the way, so turn your character to face away from that location to avoid the gaze attack.

When the boss casts Beatific Scorn, four scorch marks will be placed on the floor, one after the other. The circles on the floor will explode in the order that the scorch marks were placed in them. Move to one of the circles that contains the last scorch mark to appear, then when the neighboring circles explode, move into one of them to be safe from the remaining explosions. Keep in mind that the circles overlap, so you need to make sure to entirely exit a circle that still has a scorch mark in it.

Hush is a high-damage attack on the player highest in the enmity list.

Void Shaker targets a random player with a wide cone attack marker.

Void Nail marks all players with circle attack markers that follow them. Players should spread apart from each other to avoid overlapping each other with their circles.

The next time that Eye of Troia is cast, there will be a sequence of several shrinking gaze attack rings. Be careful to identify the center points of each ring, which is where each gaze attack will occur, and turn your character away from each one. This is combined with Toric Void, which places a donut attack marker around the edge, and then a second donut attack. Make sure to not to go too far away from the boss when dodging the gaze attacks. This is followed by Void Nail, so players will need to spread apart to avoid overlapping each other with their circles, and may need to wait until the gaze attack has occurred before they can reposition to avoid any overlapping circle attacks.

Beatific Scorn targets a random player with a stack marker. Unmarked players should stack together with the marked player to reduce the damage of the attack.

Scarmiglione

Cursed Echo damages all players and inflicts Bleeding status on all players. This status cannot be removed with Esuna.

Rotten Rampage places groups of circle attack markers, one after the other, throughout the area. There will be small safe spots between the circle markers. Player should keep their distance from each other at this time, because all players will also be targeted with circle attack markers that follow them. Players should spread apart from each other to avoid overlapping each other with their circles. The circle attacks will inflict Brain Rot status on each player. The number on the Brain Rot status indicator will increase each time the player is hit with a circle attack, and if the number reaches 3 before the Brain Rot timer runs out, the character will be inflicted with a negative status effect.

Blighted Bedevilment places a circle marker in the center of the area. Don't step in this circle or you will die. Players will soon be knocked back from this circle marker. There is a damaging ring around the area, so all players need to make sure to stand in an area that has a wall between the player and the damaging ring to avoid being knocked into it.

The boss will float upward while casting Blighted Bladework, and will point its sword at an angle at the floor. After a moment, a red line will point from the sword to the ground. There will soon be a very large circle attack that is centered on the spot that the sword is pointing at, so move far away from that spot.

The boss will land at the location where the sword had been pointing, and then will turn around and cast Blighted Sweep, hitting the entire area that the boss is facing. Quickly run behind the boss to avoid this attack.

Firedamp is a high-damage attack on the player highest in the enmity list. It will also hit any players in the circle indicator around the tank, so other players should be sure not to stand in the circle indicator.

When the boss begins casting Creeping Decay, it becomes untargetable, and a Scarmiglione's Power gauge appears. Quickly kill the Necroserf enemies that have appeared. The gauge will stop increasing when all of the Necroserf enemies have been defeated. There will be various attacks to dodge at this time, such as large circle attack markers in the center, large circle attack markers around the edge, circle attacks that require players to spread apart, a stack marker that requires players to stack together, and so on.

When the Necroserf enemies have all been defeated, the boss casts Corruptor's Pitch. The higher the Scarmiglione's Power gauge, the more damage this attack will do.

After this, the battle will continue with the attacks that you have seen before.

Completing the Quest

Defeating the boss will complete one of the quest objectives for the Main Scenario Quest The Fell Court of Troia.
