Mistwake - Dungeon Guide

Beneath the Ninth's roiling sky lies the Mist Continent, once home to the Kingdom of Alexandria and her fellow nations.

How to Unlock

Mistwake, a 4-player dungeon, is unlocked by the level 100 Main Scenario Quest Beyond the Mountains.

Treno Catoblepas

Earthquake damages all players.

Thunder II places thunder circles on players, as well as throughout the area. Find a safe spot to stand in and don't overlap other players with your circle. Hitting the rocks with your lightning will cause those rocks to crumble, so try to find a safe spot that isn't near a rock, because there needs to be at least one rock to hide behind for the next attack.

To avoid the Bedeviling Light attack, hide behind a rock.

Thunder III is a high-damage attack on the player highest in the enmity list. Stay out of the circle around this player to avoid the attack.

Ray of Lightning targets a random player with a line stack marker. Unmarked players should stack together in a line with the marked player to reduce the damage of the attack.

Petribreath is a cone attack in front of the boss that does not display an attack marker until just before the attack, so get behind the boss if you see it casting Petribreath.

Amdusias

Thunderclap Concerto hits most of the area, with a small safe area where there is no orb with a bolt of lighting pointing out of it. Find the location around the boss where there is no orb, and stand there to avoid the attack.

Bio II damages all players and places poison orbs throughout the area.

Galloping Thunder places several line markers on the area in sequence. Make sure not to stand in the first line attack. When the boss performs each line attack, the poison orbs in the path of the attack will change color and perform medium circle attacks centered on themselves. After these circle attacks, try to move to where those circle attacks occurred, to avoid further attacks.

Thunder IV damages all players and changes the color of the remaining poison orbs, causing them to perform medium circle attacks centered on themselves, so stay away from them.

Shockbolt is a high-damage attack on the player highest in the enmity list.

The next time the boss casts Thunderclap Concerto, players will also be marked with circle attack markers that follow them. Players should spread apart from each other to avoid overlapping each other with their circles.

Thunder III targets a random player with a stack marker. This attack will hit multiple times. Unmarked players should stack together with the marked player to reduce the damage of the attack, and stay stacked together until the attacks stop.

Thundergust Griffin

Thunderspark damages all players.

High Volts marks all players with circle attack markers that follow them. Players should spread apart from each other to avoid overlapping each other with their circles. At the same time, there will be circle attack markers on the area to dodge.

After the High Volts attack, there will be thunder orbs on the area. These orbs will have lighting line attack markers. At the same time, the boss will go to a side of the area and cast Thundering Roar, and will also have lightning line attack markers. Don't stand in the path of these line attack markers.

Golden Talons is a high-damage attack on the player highest in the enmity list.

When the boss casts Fulgurous Fall, it will go to a side of the area and place a line attack marker in front of it going across the area, and there will be arrow markers pointing away from the line. Stand as close to the line attack as possible, because you will be knocked back from it, so you want to avoid getting knocked into the unsafe area around the battle area.

Immediately afterward, there will be a large line attack across the area, and four lightning orbs. Dodge, the large line attack, then carefully get out of the path of the lightning lines from the orbs and the boss.

When the boss casts Fulgurous Fall, it will go to a side of the area and place a line attack marker in front of it going across the area. This creates a cyclone in the unsafe area outside of the battle area, as well as marking all players with circle attack markers that follow them. Players should spread apart from each other to avoid overlapping each other with their circles. At the same time, there will be circle attack markers on the area to dodge. The cyclone, the orbs, and the boss will then do line attacks.

Completing the Quest

Defeating the boss will complete one of the quest objectives for the Main Scenario Quest Beyond the Mountains.
