Malikah's Well - Dungeon Guide

You have reached Malikah's Well, an abandoned mine in Amh Araeng that is now home to a Lightwarden.

How to Unlock

Malikah's Well, a 4-player dungeon, is unlocked by the level 77 Main Scenario Quest A Fresh Start.

Greater Armadillo

Stone Flail is a high-damage attack on the player highest in the enmity list.

Rockfall creates several circle attack markers in random locations. Move out of the attack markers to avoid this attack. This attack will continue for some time, so keep moving out of circle attack markers as they appear.

Head Toss marks a random player with a stack marker. Players should stack together with the marked player to reduce the damage of the attack.

Right Round is an unmarked circle attack centered on the boss, which knocks players back if hit. Move away from the boss to avoid it.

Flail Smash places a proximity attack marker in the center of the area. Move to the edge of the area to reduce the damage that you take. This is followed by a donut attack, so move back toward the center of the area to avoid it.

Two Pack Armadillos will appear at this time. The tank should use moves such as Provoke (available to all tank classes), Shield Lob (Gladiator/Paladin), Tomahawk (Marauder/Warrior), Unmend (Dark Knight), or Lightning Shot (Gunbreaker) to ensure that these enemies focus on them and not on other players. Defeat them quickly before resuming attacks on the boss.

Amphibious Talos

Efface is a high-damage attack on the player highest in the enmity list.

Wellbore is a large circle attack centered on the boss. Move to the edge of the area to avoid it.

This is followed by Waterspouts, four circle attack markers. Make sure not to stand in these attack markers. These attacks will place persistent waterspouts in the area. Make sure not to walk through the waterspouts or you will take damage.

High Pressure will knock all players away from the boss. Make sure to position yourself not to be knocked into a waterspout. Alternatively, you can use a knockback prevention move such as Surecast, Arm's Length, etc.

This is followed by Swift Spill, which places a rotation indicator around the boss. Stay behind the boss as it rotates to avoid its repeated unmarked cone attack. If you are hit by a cone attack, you will be knocked back.

Storge

Intestinal Crank damages all players.

Heretic's Fork places a prism-shaped indicator around the boss. The base of this prism is square, and there will soon be a line attack originating from each face of the square. To avoid the attack, make sure you are standing diagonal to the base of the square.

Breaking Wheel is a donut attack indicated by a glowing circle around the boss. Stand inside of this circle to avoid the attack.

Crystal Nail places four circle attack markers around the boss. Stay out of these attack markers to avoid the attack.

A wing will appear in each of the locations where there was an attack marker in the previous attack, and then the boss will either have a prism-shaped indicator or a glowing circle indicator around itself. Dodge the attack as explained above. Then, the boss will cast Censure, which will "transmit" this attack to each of the wings. Go to the first wing to have an indicator and dodge its attack accordingly (if there's a glowing circle, stand inside of it; if there's a prism, stand diagonal to its base), then move to the second wing to have the attack indicator, then the third, then the fourth, and finally, dodge the attack centered on the boss once more.

Completing the Quest

Defeating the boss will complete one of the quest objectives for the Main Scenario Quest Malikah's Well.
