You are to question members of the Ala Mhigan Resistance to find someone who might be willing to tell you about recent goings-on.

This quest is available if you have completed the quest Beneath a Star-Filled Sky.

Starting the Quest

Talk to Alphinaud in Little Ala Mhigo in Southern Thanalan to begin the quest.

Question the Residents of Little Ala Mhigo

Go southeast to the orange circle on the map.

Go to the lower level and talk to Sifrid near the center of the orange circle.

Also on the lower level , go to the southeast edge of the orange circle on the map and talk to Talebot.

Go up to the upper level and go to the northwest edge of the orange circle on the map and talk to Otelin.

Speak with Alphinaud

Go northwest to the quest icon on the map and talk to Alphinaud.

Speak with Gundobald

Go southwest to the quest icon on the map and talk to Gundobald.

Rendezvous with Alphinaud

Go southwest through the gate to go outside, then go east to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap. Talk to Alphinaud to proceed. There will be a cutscene. This one is important, so it is recommended to watch it either now or via the Unending Journey in an inn room.

Speak with Alphinaud Again

Talk to Alphinaud to complete the quest. There will be a cutscene.

Next Main Scenario Quest

After you complete the quest, talk to Papalymo to accept the next quest: Honorable Heroes.
