This page explains how to complete the level 84 Endwalker quest "Setting Things Straight".

Requirements

This quest is available if you have completed the quest Back to Old Tricks.

Starting the Quest

Talk to Urianger in Mare Lamentorum to begin the quest.

Optional: Mare Lamentorum Aether Current

You can optionally go north to find a nearby Aether Current. You can use the Aether Compass (found in Main Menu > Duty > Collection) to help you pinpoint its location. Check on the Aether Current to attune to it.

Speak with Urianger

Go southeast to the quest icon on the map and talk to Urianger to proceed.

Stand Watch

Go to the quest icon on the map and check on the Destination. Defeat the Wandering Daphnia that attacks. Afterward, defeat the two Wandering Daphnia that attack. Afterward, defeat the Wandering Daphnia that attacks.

Stand Watch at the Designated Location

Check on the sparkling Destination to proceed.

Speak with Urianger Again

Go to the quest icon and talk to Urianger to proceed. There will be a cutscene.

Speak with Y'shtola

Teleport to Bestways Burrow and go east through the large doors. Then go northeast to the quest icon on the map and talk to Y'shtola to proceed.

Search for Runningway

Go northeast to the quest icon on the map and check on the sparkling Destination to proceed. Zoom in and move the crosshairs over Runningway. Follow the on-screen instructions to Execute Throw. There will be a cutscene.

Speak with Y'shtola Again

Go to the quest icon on the map and talk to Y'shtola to complete the quest. There will be a cutscene.

Aether Current Quests

With the completion of this quest, you can now start two blue quests, each of which unlocks an Aether Current in Mare Lamentorum. The quests are as follows.

Next Main Scenario Quest

After you complete the quest, talk to Growingway to accept the next quest: Heart of the Matter.
