This quest is available if you have completed the quest A Fitting Payment.

Starting the Quest

Talk to Ys Gyuf in Il Mheg to begin the quest.

Remove the Flamespores

Go to the orange circle northwest of the Aetheryte and go to the southwest edge of it. Check on the sparkling Flamespores to remove them.

Go to Marn Ose and walk up the tree root to reach the wooden platform of the mushroom house. Go east along the wooden platform to reach some mushroom steps. Go up the steps and check on the sparkling Flamespores at the top.

Go to the final orange circle on the map. Go to the east side of the orange circle and check on the sparkling Flamespores to remove them.

Speak with Ys Gyuf

Go to the quest icon on the map and talk to Ys Gyuf to proceed.

Remove the Flamespores, Part 2

Go west to the orange circle on the map. Go to the east side of the orange circle and check on the sparkling Flamespores to remove them.

Find the Owner of the Gaze

Go southeast to the orange circle on the map and talk to Minfilia.

Speak with Ys Gyuf Again

Go north and then east to the quest icon on the map. Talk to Ys Gyuf to complete the quest. There will be a cutscene. Afterward, you will be able to purchase items from Ys Gyuf.

Next Main Scenario Quest

After you complete the quest, talk to Wyd Lad to accept the next quest: The Lawless Ones. There will be a cutscene.
