This page explains how to complete the level 88 Endwalker quest "Sage Council".

Requirements

This quest is available if you have completed the quest Agriculture Shock.

Starting the Quest

Talk to Urianger in Labyrinthos to begin the quest.

Speak with Growingway

You can either teleport to Sharlayan Hamlet, or you can go to the west end of the area and talk to Hester, and say Yes to proceed, then go northwest to the archway in the wall, then go northwest to where the orange arrow is pointing in the minimap. Talk to Growingway to proceed. There will be a cutscene.

Speak with the Troubled Researcher

Go to the quest icon on the map and talk to the Troubled Researcher. There will be a cutscene.

Seek Out Troubled Souls

Go to the northwest part of the orange circle on the map and talk to the Distracted Researcher.

Go north of the Aetheryte and check behind the building to talk to the Hyperventilating Engineer.

Ignore the Irascible Adminstrator who is talking to the Junkmonger. Go up the stairs northeast of the Aetheryte and go to the ledge that overlooks the Aetheryte, and talk to the Harried Aetherologist.

Go slightly east of the Aetheryte and talk to the Grimacing Naturalist.

Go to the door of the building east the Aetheryte and talk to the Ponderous Mathematician.

Go slightly west of the Aetheryte and talk to the Anxious Engineer.

Go southwest from the Aetheryte and talk to the Despondent Engineer (near the Chocobokeep icon on the map).

Go southeast from the Chocobokeep icon on the map and talk to the Skeptical Researcher.

Speak with Urianger

Go west from the Aetheryte to the quest icon on the map and talk to Urianger to proceed.

Wait at the Destination

Check on the sparkling Destination to proceed. There will be a cutscene. This one is important, so it is recommended to watch it either now or via the Unending Journey in an inn room.

Speak with Urianger Again

Talk to Urianger to complete the quest.

After you complete the quest, talk to Urianger to accept the next quest: Hither and Yarns.
