Now that your Magitek Reaper is fully operational, it is time to rescue your friends from Castrum Centri.

Requirements

This quest is available if you have completed the quest Every Little Thing She Does is Magitek.

Starting the Quest

Talk to Cid in the workshop in Revenant's Toll in Mor Dhona to begin the quest. There will be a cutscene. (If you are not in the workshop, you can go there by talking to Slafborn near the Mor Dhona Aetheryte.)

Speak with Cid While Disguised

If you no longer have your imperial disguise, you can talk to Glaumunt in Revenant's Toll to get replacements.

Equip your Mended Imperial Pot Helm and Mended Imperial Short Robe, then go southwest to the location that the orange arrow in the minimap is pointing to. Talk to Cid and there will be a cutscene. This one is important, so it is recommended to watch it either now or via the Unending Journey in an inn room.

Perform an Imperial Salute to Imperial Soldiers

Go to each of the three soldiers marked on the map and target each one, then type /imperialsalute or /imperialsalute motion (the second one will not display a chat message)

Perform an Imperial Salute to the Centurion

Go to the Centurion who is marked on the map and target him, then type /imperialsalute or /imperialsalute motion (the second one will not display a chat message)

Give Biggs the Imperial Identification Key

Go southeast to Biggs and talk to him to hand over the identification key. There will be a brief cutscene.

Examine the Steel Door

Go east to the Steel Door. There will be a glow around it, indicating an instanced battle. Change back into your regular gear now. You will not be able to during the instanced battle. Check on it and there will be a cutscene, and then the battle will ensue.

Solo Duty: Escape from Castrum Centri

Free the Prisoners

Do the following things in the following order:

1. Kill the 5th Cohort Signifer that is attacking you. Don't attack any other enemies.
2. Check on the two sets of Rope Bonds near Urianger and Papalymo, to free them.
3. Kill the 5th Cohort Eques
4. Kill the 5th Cohort Optio
5. Kill the 5th Cohort Medicus
6. Kill the 5th Cohort Eques
7. Kill the 5th Cohort Hoplomachus

After the battle, there will be a cutscene. This one is important, so it is recommended to watch it either now or via the Unending Journey in an inn room.

Escape

Another battle will take place outside. Do the following to complete the duty.

Look in the southeast, southwest, and northeast corners of the area to find 5th Cohort Signifers and Magitek Field Generators. Before you destroy a Magitek Field Generator, kill the Signifer that is guarding it. Repeat this until there are no more Magitek Field Generators. Then go back to the middle of the area and kill any Magitek Vanguard H-1s there, but if it is invulnerable, check the corners of the area again and kill any Signifers and Magitek Field Generators you find.

Whenever there are no more Field Generators, go back to the middle and kill any 5th Cohort enemies that have appeared, followed by the Magitek Vanguard H-1s, but if they are invulnerable, check the corners of the area again to destroy any Magitek Field Generators that have appeared.

Later in the battle, a Magitek Colossus will also join the fray. It is not being shielded, so just attack it until it is defeated. Defeat all remaining enemies to complete the duty.

After the battle, there will be a cutscene. This one is important, so it is recommended to watch it either now or via the Unending Journey in an inn room.

Speak with Minfilia

Afterward, you will be at the airship landing in Ul'dah. (If you exit the area, you can talk to Elyenora at the Ul'dah Airship Landing counter to get back in.) Talk to Minfilia to complete the quest.

After you complete the quest, talk to Minfilia to accept the next quest: The Black Wolf's Ultimatum.
