After you make offerings to the Goddess statues at the three springs, you check on the Mother Goddess statue.

Quest Reward

Go into the Forgotten Temple and go to the northeastern end of it to find that the Mother Goddess statue has been restored. Talk to her to receive the White Sword of the Sky.
