With help from Mineru's Construct, you cross the Depths and reach the Spirit Temple, where you must defeat the Seized Construct.

Examine the Statue

Go forward and examine the owl statue to create a teleport to the temple. Then go toward the secret stone and there will be a cutscene.

Defeat the Seized Construct

Hit the Seized Construct with the weapons that you have attached. You can also find other weapons in the corners of the battlefield.

You will need to remain on the Construct at all times to stay safe from the gloom on the floor.

The Construct can swing a punch. Hold the Guard button to block this, then swing a weapon after the Seized Construct's attack bounces off of your shield. Or you can try to circle around to the side to dodge the attack, then hit the Construct. Be sure to circle around to the arm that it is not punching with. However, your Construct moves slowly and may not be able to get out of the way in time.

Whenever you successfully hit the Seized Construct, keep hitting it repeatedly until you have knocked it into the wall. This will damage it.

Avoid letting the Construct knock you into the wall at all costs. It is electrified, and will deal a large amount of damage to Link.

Keep in mind that after you block an attack with Guard, there is a delay before you can use it again.

The Construct may jump to a corner and shoot a cannon at you, so try to stay in the center of the battlefield to reduce the chance of getting knocked into the wall. Hold the Guard button to block the cannon fire, then get close to the Seized Construct, dodge any punches that it swings, and swing your weapon to knock it into the wall.

Whenever you are near a corner, try to quickly attach one of the spiked balls to an arm if you need them.

The Seized Construct may also use Shock Emitters. You can push the Guard button to try to protect yourself from them.

Phase 2

After the Seized Construct's health is about 50%, it will grow two more arms, for a total of four. It has fans on two of its hands, allowing it to float around the area.

It can fly toward you with Shock Emitters, and can shoot cannons at you and swing punches at you as before. Push the Guard button to protect yourself from the attacks, and keep knocking the Seized Construct into the wall until it is defeated.

After

There is a Heart Container that you can take. Afterward, go to the secret stone. Examine it, and there will be a cutscene.

This completes the quest Guidance from the Past, and begins the quest Trail of the Master Sword.
