Lurelin Village Restoration Project

After you defeat the pirates that took over Lurelin Village, Bolson asks you to help restore the village.

After you defeat the pirates that took over Lurelin Village, Bolson asks you to help restore the village.

How to Start the Quest

Before you can start this quest, you need to complete the quest Ruffian-Infested Village. Then talk to Bolson in Lurelin Village to start this quest.

Bring 15 Logs

Bolson asks for 15 logs, but not from palm trees. There are many trees near Sifumim Shrine that aren't palm trees. Some of these trees are Evermeans, so defeat them carefully and avoid hitting the fallen logs or they will turn into wood, which can't be used for the restoration. Attach the logs together with Ultrahand, and when you have 15 logs, use Ultrahand to carry them to Bolson.

Or you can have a horse help bring the logs if you have a Towing Harness, but your horse isn't strong enough to tow all 15 logs at once. A wagon can only reliably carry two logs at a time and is difficult to maneuver, so it is recommended to just attach two or three logs directly to the Towing Harness instead of trying to use a wagon, and make multiple trips.

Bring 20 Hylian Rice

You can purchase Hylian Rice at the following locations. If you need to make a store restock, go somewhere far away from the store and sleep or wait by a fire until morning, then go back to the shop.

  • Beedle's Riverside Stable Shop
  • General Store in Great Deku Tree's navel (if you haven't been there yet, ).
  • Hateno Village General Store
  • Lookout Landing General Store
  • Spera's shop in Gerudo Town
  • Zora's Domain General Store

Repair Buildings

After you have given Bolson 15 logs and 20 Hylian Rice, you can talk to him to repair buildings. There are three establishments and two homes.

Repair the Inn

Talk to Bolson, then choose establishments, and then choose the inn. Bolson says that the debris inside of the inn will need to be removed from above. Climb up the side of the building and you will see that there are three pieces of wood floating on the water, and two metal poles underwater. Use Ultrahand to attach a piece of wood to a metal pole, and do the same with another metal pole. The wood will float to the top, so you can remove the metal poles at the same time. Drop all of the items outside of the building and Bolson will automatically complete the repair. Chessica will return and give you 5 Voltfruit.

Repair the Restaurant

Talk to Bolson, then choose establishments, and then choose the restaurant. Bolson says that you need to find a straight palm tree and put it through the hole in the roof and the floor. So cut down a straight palm tree, then use Ultrahand to move the crates out of the way (or break them open with a heavy weapon, etc.). Use Ultrahand to pick up the palm tree log. You may need to have the palm tree horizontal, then rotate it so that it rotates into the hole in the top. Then move it downward to go through the hole in the floor. When the log is in place, Bolson will automatically complete the repair. Sebasto and his family will return and give you Tough Seafood Fried Rice.

Repair the Lucky Treasure Shop

Talk to Bolson, then choose establishments, and then choose the Lucky Treasure Shop. Bolson says that you need to find a straight palm tree and put it through the hole in the roof, then into the plant pot on the second floor. So cut down a straight palm tree, then lean it up against the side of the building so you will be able to use Ultrahand on it from the top floor. Then go into the building and use Ascend to get onto the roof. Use Ultrahand to take the palm tree log. You may need to have the palm tree horizontal, then rotate it so that it rotates into the hole in the top. When the log is in place, Bolson will automatically complete the repair. Cloyne will return and give you 5 bomb flowers.

Repair the Village Head's House

Talk to Bolson, then choose homes, and then choose the village head's house. Bolson says that you need to find a straight palm tree and put it through the hole in the roof and the floor. There is a crate on top of the hole in the roof, so go into the building so you can reach the crate with Ultrahand, and remove the crate from on top of the hole. Then cut down a straight palm tree and use Ultrahand to pick it up. You may need to have the palm tree horizontal, then rotate it so that it rotates into the hole in the top. Then move it downward to go through the hole in the floor. When the log is in place, Bolson will automatically complete the repair. Numal will return and give you 3 Armored Porgy.

Repair Armes's House

Talk to Bolson, then choose homes, and then choose Armes's house. Bolson says that you need to find a straight palm tree and put it through the hole in the roof and the floor. Cut down a straight palm tree and use Ultrahand to pick it up. You may need to have the palm tree horizontal, then rotate it so that it rotates into the hole in the top. Then move it downward to go through the hole in the floor. When the log is in place, Bolson will automatically complete the repair. Armes will return and give you 50 rupees. He also says to take any treasures and fish you want from in front of his house. He puts out new swords, fish, and a treasure chest with a random color rupee in it, on a regular basis, so be sure to check often.

Quest Reward

After you finish repairing all of the buildings, there will be a cutscene. From now on, all of the shops in the village will be free for you, and you can take whatever you find in the village any time.

You can now talk to Garini at the village dock to start the quest A Way to Trade, Washed Away.

You can also talk to Bolson and Rozel to start "Lurelin Resort Project".

You can also talk to Zuta to start the quest "Dad's Blue Shirt".
