How to Start the Quest

After you start the quest Potential Princess Sightings, talk to Penn at Foothill Stable to start this quest.

How to Complete the Quest

It helps to do this quest late at night, when monsters sleep. You can also eat food to boost your defense or attack. Go northwest along the road to the quest destination and talk to the Zonai Survey Team members. Agree to try defeating the monsters in the cave in your underpants.

Go slowly into the cave. When you see the monsters up ahead, press the left control stick like a button and you will crouch. Pick up the Thick Stick that is leaning against the stone column. If you go southwest, you can get some food, and hit the wooden crate to get arrows or other items. Nearby, there is a wooden stick. If you're in the cave at night, the monsters may be asleep, allowing you to use Sneakstrike on them. There is a Bokoblin, an armored Bokoblin, a Blue Moblin, a Blue Bokoblin that shoots arrows at you. Be sure to grab the Seared Steak from their campfire. There are weapons near the campfire, and more wooden crates. Don't get close to the arrow-shooting Bokoblin. Be sure to fuse a rock or boulder to one of your weapons and use it on the armored Bokoblin to destroy its armor. If you can steal all of the weapons, the Moblin will start throwing rocks at you, so you can use Recall to make the rocks fly back toward the Moblin and hurt it.

After you defeat the monsters, go back to the cave entrance and talk to the Zonai Survey Team members to get your gear back.
