The Steward Construct on top of the Temple of Time on Great Sky Island will tell you the story of the island if you complete the ritual.

Quest Location

Go to the roof of the Temple of Time on Great Sky Island and talk to the Steward Construct there to start the quest.

How to Complete the Quest

The Steward Construct says that you can't set foot on any surface other than the roof of the Temple of Time. However, you will not be disqualified if you are standing on Zonai Devices. Therefore, you should use Device Dispensers until you have enough Zonai Devices to build things that can take you around Great Sky Island.

One way to complete this is to put a Rocket on the back of a Wing and put some Fans and a Steering Stick on top, and attach a Flame Emitter pointed down at an angle to the nose of the Wing. You can then place the Wing on the roof and point it at one of the quest destinations (all three bonfires are marked on the map), then check on the Steering Stick to launch the Wing. Then you can fly over each of the three bonfires, and the Flame Emitter on the front of the Wing will light each bonfire. However, the Wing will likely start flashing and disappear before you can reach all three bonfires with it, so be prepared to land as soon as it starts flashing. This will allow you to take out another Wing from your Zonai Devices, detach the Fans, Steering Stick, and Flame Emitter from the old Wing and reattach them to the new one, then take out another Rocket and attach it to the back of the Wing. Rotate the new Wing as needed to point to the next bonfire, then carefully walk onto it without touching the ground, and check on the controls to continue.

After you have lit all three bonfires, you can fly back to the roof of the Temple of Time and talk to the Steward Construct.

Quest Reward

After you successfully complete the ritual, the Steward Construct will tell you the story of the Great Sky Island and will give you Zonai Fabric for your Paraglider.
