A Precise Strike

Attach the metal cube to the stone arm that hangs down above the orb. Use Ultrahand to pull back the metal cube and push it upward. Then let go of it and it will hit the orb. When the orb is either in the curved part of the floor or just above it, use Recall on it, then quickly deactivate Recall before it moves outside of the curved area. If you position the orb correctly, it will roll down into the bottom of the curved area and open the bars.

Before you go, there is a hallway across from the bars that opened. Go through to find another metal cube, orb, and glowing switch. This time, the switch is moving. Attach the metal cube to the arm and try to use it to hit the orb into the moving target. You can try to use Recall here as well. Once you get the orb into the moving switch, the bars will open, and you can open the chest inside, which contains a Mighty Zonaite Longsword.
