After you join Blueberry Academy's BB League, you can take on Drayton's trial for a chance to battle him.

Go to Polar Plaza

Polar Plaza is located in the northwest part of the Polar Biome in the Terarium. Talk to the person behind the desk at the northeast part of the plaza. Normally you would pay 50 BP to battle an Elite Four member, but Drayton pays your fee for you.

Drayton will explain the trial: you will battle three League Club members, but your party must consist only of pokémon that you caught in the Terarium. They can't be pokémon caught by another trainer. You can still start the trial even if your Terarium-Only party isn't ready. Just catch the pokémon that you need, then come back and talk to the trainers to battle them. You may find it helpful to catch Terastal pokémon in the wild, since they will have higher levels.
