Froakie challenges you to beat its record of 30 seconds on the hardest scaffolding course.

How to Start the Mission

This mission becomes available after you start Main Mission 06: Reaching Rank X. Talk to Surv in the eastern part of Lumiose City, just north of Jaune Pokémon Center, which is north of Wild Zone 6, to start the mission.

How to Complete the Mission

You have 30 seconds to complete the course. Your Rotom Phone will tell you how much time is left. Press B (no need to hold it) to run. You will automatically jump up slopes. Climb up the ladder, but be careful to get onto the narrow walkway without falling (but even if you fall, you should still have time to go back up and make it to the goal).

Afterward, go to the mission destination and talk to Surv again. You have 40 seconds to complete the course. On this part of the course, there are a lot of narrow walkways, so be careful. It might be best not to run on the narrowest walkways at the top of the course.

Roto-Glide is required for the next part of the course. Roto-Glide is unlocked in Main Mission 16: A Rogue Mega Beedrill, so if you don't have Roto-Glide yet, you'll have to progress in the main story before you can complete this side mission.

The final part of the course is farther away, in the north part of the city. If you have added Rouge Pokémon Center (which is north Wild Zone 4) as a travel destination, you can travel there now. Whichever way you get there, you have 50 seconds to complete this part of the course.

Go up the ramp and climb the ladder, then run toward the scaffolding across the way and press A to Roto-Glide across. Then turn around and climb the ladder. Use Roto-Glide to land on the scaffolding to the right (use the control stick to move around in the air), then run across the narrow plank. Run up the angled plank and use Roto-Glide to reach the other side. Then run across the next narrow plank and go up the ramp to the Froakie.

The Froakie will join you. You will also get 1800 Pokédollars, 3x Exp. Candy XS, and 1x Exp. Candy S.
