Main Mission 37: Operation Protect Lumiose

The tower glows with a dangerous light and it is up to you to protect Lumiose City.

Make it Across the City

Follow your friends on the rooftops and down to the street. You will fight Mega Gengar and Mega Heracross.

Then go south until you reach a dead end, then turn left and go through the park to reach the mission destination. Approach Ivor and Gwynn, and you will battle Mega Pidgeot, Mega Kangaskhan, and Mega Garchomp.

Follow Ivor to the next destination. Then cross the bridge, then turn left to go up the stairs. Then turn around and use the walkway alongside the canal, then turn left to go up the stairs. At the top, turn left and follow the path to the mission destination. You have to battle a Mega Steelix and a Mega Blastoise.

Go straight ahead to where Tarragon and Canari are waiting, and go up the short flight of stairs to enter the scaffolding challenge course. After you go up as far as you can, your next destination is the platform with the item on it. From there, go to the opening in the scaffolding just below the four cones, and continue going upward from there. At the top, there is a hole that you have to jump down into. From there, go down the stairs between the spotlights.

From there, go straight ahead to the next destination. You will have to battle Mega Aggron and Mega Salamence.

Go straight ahead, then turn left, then go into the open door in the building on the right. You have to battle Mega Gardevoir and Mega Gallade.

Go to the mission destination. Then climb up the people ladder. At the top, turn right and go along the rooftops, the piles of scaffolding, and the roots from the tower. Eventually you have to battle Mega Metagross, Mega Aerodactyl, and Mega Alakazam.

Next, follow Zygarde.

Hyperrogue Ange Floette

Now you will fight Hyperrogue Ange Floette. Use your Pokémon to attack the flowers while also dodging their attacks. They will spit energy at you and your Pokémon, and they will also perform a circular electrical attack directly in front of them.

After the flowers are gone, you fight as Zygarde. Hold ZL to target the tower, then use one of Zygarde's moves to attack. Afterward, stand beneath Zygarde to be in its protective shield.

Afterward, attack the flowers again as you did before. This time, in addition to their previous attacks, they can create a poison area in front of them that you and your Pokémon need to stay out of, as well as shooting a beam in front of them. For the beam attack, you may want to put your Pokémon away so it doesn't take continuous damage. During this battle, sometimes the flowers will go back underground, and the tower will charge up Light of Ruin, so run away from where the flowers were and hide under Zygarde to stay safe. Make sure your Pokémon stays in the protective area as well.

During the next phase of fighting the flowers, if a flower looks upward and yells, it is about to hit you with an attack where you are standing. There will be a brief burst of dark energy to show where the attack will occur, so press Y to dodge away from where you were.

After you defeat the flowers, you can now have Zygarde attack with Core Enforcer.

Then, when your pebble reacts, select it, and choose Grip Tightly. Then when the Mega Evolution gauge appears on screen, push the Mega Evolve button. Then when you can target the Light of Ruin, hold ZL. Zygarde's Core Enforcer becomes Nihil Light. Use it. Congratulations, you won! Enjoy the credits, and be sure to watch to the end. During the post-credits scene, choose a dialogue option, then press a button to continue. This begins Main Mission 38: The Future of Lumiose City.
