Main Mission 35: Reaching Rank A

You receive your next promotion match against an opponent called Grisham, but you need help tracking them down.

Visit Looker Bureau

Go into Looker Bureau to continue. Afterward, go outside and talk to Emma to start the battle. Detective Emma has a level 57 Ampharos, a level 57 Mawile, a level 57 Lopunny, a level 57 Lucario, and a level 58 Malamar that she Mega Evolves.

Go to Pokémon Research Lab

Go to the Pokémon Research Lab and take the elevator to the Director's Office.

Then go to the Nouveau Café and talk to the guy in the truck.

If needed, battle in Battle Zones at night until you have earned a Challenger's Ticket. You can use a bench (which can be found outside of every Pokémon Center, for example) to go directly to night time.

Once you have a Challenger's Ticket, go northeast from Wild Zone 7 to reach the mission destination. Approach the closed storefront. Then talk to Griselle when you are ready to battle.

Griselle of Team Flare Nouveau has a level 59 Talonflame, a level 60 Aerodactyl, a level 59 Camerupt, a level 60 Metagross, and a level 61 Pyroar that she Mega Evolves. You get 3904 Pokédollars for winning.

Afteward, go into the abandoned café. Then go through the door in the back to reach Lysandre Labs.

Lysandre Labs

Your first task is to find the Elevator Key. Explore the area, but be aware that you can encounter wild Pokémon.

Go to the southeast part of the area to find a glowing computer panel. This will activate the lights and the warp panels in this area. Use the nearby warp panel to reach a part of the southeast area that you couldn't reach before. Follow the path to a dead end, and be sure to look in a corner to find the Dark Pulse TM. Then check on the sparkle on the desk to find Lab Key Card A.

Go back the way you came and look to the left for a ramp you can walk up, to reach the southeast part of the area. Before you continue, use the northwest warp panel in the room to reach a closed room where you find a Dawn Stone. Then go back to the entrance room and go to the door in the northwest part of the room. Check on the panel next to the door to open it.

Go through the door you opened, and make your way to the southwest part of the area. Check on the computer panel there to turn on the warp panels and lights. Then go north and use the warp panel to reach the southwest area that you couldn't reach earlier. Pick up the Rare Candy nearby, then use the other warp panel. Check on the sparkle nearby to get Lab Key Card B.

There is a ramp nearby that you can use to return to where you were earlier. From there, go northwest and check on the panel next to the door to open it. Go through the hallway and go left when you can, and you find a Sun Stone in the western room. Go back to the main hallway and go left. Keep going north and you find a room with a computer panel at the end. Check on it to turn on the lights and activate the warp panels.

Exit this room and turn left, and you find a warp panel, but before you use it, you can go north into the room to find a Max Revive. Then go to the warp panel and use it. Then use the next warp panel you find. Go north to a large room, and go to the middle of the north wall to find a sparkle on a desk. Check on it to get Lab Key Card C.

Go to the southeast corner of this room and continue through the rooms to find the locked door, but there are additional areas to explore before you use the key card, to the southeast and to the northwest. When you are done exploring, go to the locked door (check the map to see the lock symbol where it is) and check on the panel next to the door to open it. Go through.

To proceed, you have to battle Aegislash. It is level 50 and can't be caught.

Then continue going north. In the room at the end, check in the corner to get a Max Potion. Check on the glowing computer panel on the wall to turn on the lights and activate the warp panel. Then check on the sparkle on the desk in this room to get the Elevator Key. Then use the warp panel and you will return to the entrance. Check on the Elevator there. If you go to B2F, you will find an Exp. Candy L, but it's a dead end, so go back to the elevator and go to B3F. Go to the destination at the end of the path. You can then read the four files.

Afterward, you can take the elevator back to B1F, then go up the stairs to return to Lysandre Café. Talk to Grisham to continue. Then go into Hotel Z and talk to AZ.

If you don't yet have a Challenger's Ticket, battle in Battle Zones at night to earn one, then go to Nouveau Café and talk to Grisham to start the Promotion Match.

Grisham of Team Flare Nouveau has a level 61 Pangoro, a level 61 Malamar, a level 61 Pyroar, a level 62 Tyranitar, a level 62 Salamence, and a level 63 Charizard that he Mega Evolves into Mega Charizard X. You get 4536 Pokédollars for winning.
