Elite Four and Champion

After you venture through Victory Road, you reach the Pokémon League, where you can challenge the Elite Four and Champion.

Talk to the Ace Trainer

After you have defeated your friend in the Pokémon League building, you can talk to the Ace Trainer guarding the door to the Elite Four and Champion. Before you do, be sure to prepare for the battles ahead. After you go through the door, you will not be able to change the party of six pokémon that you bring with you, and you will not have access to the Pokémon Center or Poké Mart, so you will need to use healing items between battles.

Prepare

During the upcoming battles, the highest level pokémon you will face is level 66. It is recommended to bring pokémon that are at least level 66 or higher, but you may be able to survive using pokémon whose levels are lower. See below for a list of the opponent pokémon that you will face, and the lists of moves that they know, to help you select a good team of pokémon to bring that are not weak to your opponents' attacks and have supereffective attacks that they can use against your opponents.

As you can see, some of the pokémon that you will face will use Swords Dance or Nasty Plot to sharply raise the damage of their attacks. This is especially dangerous during the battle with the Champion.
