Lakebed Temple

Using a water bomb, you are able to open up the barricaded Lakebed Temple.

Get the Map

Swim through the passage into the main part of the temple and there will be a brief cutscene.

There is a chest in this area that contains more Water Bombs. There is another chest that contains arrows.

Go up the stairs and jump to grab the handle across from the gate. The gate will open. Carefully approach the door, because a Chuchu will fall from above when you approach. Then go through the door.

In the next room, use bomb arrows to knock down all the stalactites. Then go through the door at the far side of the room.

After a cutscene, cross the bridge and go through the door.

In the next room, go down the stairs. Ignore the handle at the base of the stairs, and go around the room until you find another handle. Jump to grab that handle. This will make the stairs rotate. Then go up the stairs and ignore the handle at the top, but instead go around the room and find another handle to jump and grab. Afterward, go down the stairs and look for the chest that contains the Dungeon Map. Then go through the nearby door. Cross the bridge and go through the door at the end.

Get a Small Key

In the next room, shoot down the two stalactites, then go down the tunnel to the lower part of the room. Use the vines to climb around the side of the stone, then jump across the platforms to the small chest, which contains a small key.

Get Ooccoo

Go back the way you came, to the room with the rotating stairs. From here, you can go around the top level and find Ooccoo in a jar if you didn't find her earlier. Then go through the nearby locked door. Cross the bridge and go through the door at the end.

Get a Second Small Key

Shoot down the stalactite in this room, then climb the vines and jump onto the handle that is hanging from the ceiling. Jump down from here and bomb the boulder, then go through the nearby door.

In the next room, go across the gear and through the door on the other side.

Find the chest in this room and open it to get a small key, then go back to the previous room, go across the gear, and go through the door that you originally came through.

Get a Third Small Key

Go past the boulder that you bombed earlier, and go through the door at the end.

A Chu Worm will attack. Use a bomb arrow to get rid of the bubble, then kill the Chu Worm with your sword. Then go through the locked door in the wall.

Go up the spiral ramp in this room and open the chest at the top to get some water bombs. Then climb up a ladder on the nearby archway and jump to grab the handle hanging from the ceiling. Go back to the spiral ramp and you can slide down it in the water. At the bottom, go to the platform in the center, then jump and grab the handle there. Follow the flow of the water and go through the door at the end.

In the next room, go through the first door that you find, back to the room with the gear, which is now spinning. Drop down below the gear and jump onto one of the chain platforms. From the platform, jump to the northern door and go through.

In the next room, go to the side and open the chest to get a small key. Then go back to the room with the spinning chain platforms. Get on a platform and jump to the door that you didn't go through before.

Deku Toad

In the next room, unlock the locked door and get in the water. Use the Iron Boots and go to the end of the passage, where there is a boulder. Use a water bomb to get rid of it, then swim to the end of the passage. In the next room, there will be a brief cutscene. Walk around until something falls from the ceiling, then look at the ceiling to find the Deku Toad.

Deku Toad will make small Toados appear. You can kill them with your sword. Eventually Deku Toad will jump to the ceiling. Run around the room to avoid letting Deku Toad fall on you. When it lands, it will be stunned, so attack its tongue with your sword. Also, if Deku Toad opens its mouth, you can shoot bomb arrows into it or try throwing bombs into it.

After Deku Toad dies, open the chest that it spit out. You will get the Clawshot.

Get a Piece of Heart

Go to the gate in the wall and shoot the Clawshot at the red target in the ceiling. Go through the gate that opened, then go through the door at the end. There will be another door ahead. Go through it.

Go back to the room with the rotating stairs. Go up the stairs and go to where water is flowing out. Use the Clawshot on the target in the ceiling here to make the stairs rotate to where the water is coming out. Afterward, use the Clawshot on one of the targets in the middle of the ceiling to land on the chandelier. Open the chest there to get a piece of heart.

Get the Compass

Go onto the stairs and go through the door at the bottom, where the water is flowing. Go past the rotating barrier and go through the door at the end.

There is a tall stone pillar in this room, off to the side of the two gears that have platforms hanging from chains. Use the Clawshot to make your way to the top of the pillar. Then grab the vines by the door at the top and go through that door.

There is another Chu Worm in the next room. You can use the Clawshot to pull it out of the bubble, then kill it with the sword. Afterward, go to the side of the room where there are some water spouts. Shoot down the stalactite above one of the water spouts, then climb onto the stalactite to be raised to an opening in the wall. Go to the other side of that wall, then use the Clawshot on the target above the ledge. Go through the door.

There are two Chu Worms here, so kill them, then use the Clawshot on the vines on the ceiling to go to the other side of the wall. You will land in some water. Climb up the nearby vines and go up the spiral ramp. Eventually the ramp will end at a water spout. Wait for the water spout to go down, then use the Clawshot on the target beyond it, and continue going up the ramp. When the ramp ends again, use the Clawshot again to go farther up the ramp. Open the chest at the top to get some bombs. Then go up a ladder on the nearby archway and jump to grab the handle. After the water comes out, use the Clawshot on the target behind the waterfall and open the chest there to get the Compass.

Get the Big Key

Climb out of the Compass room and slide down the ramp. At the bottom, go to the platform in the center of the water and jump to grab the handle. Use the Clawshot on the ceiling vines near the gate that just opened, to go to the other side.

There are two doors here. Go through the south one and go past the waterwheel at the end of the path. Go through the first door that you encounter after the waterwheel.

You will find yourself in a room with two gears. Look for a Clawshot target on the wall that has a small chest near it. Open that chest to get a red rupee. Then jump onto the nearby stone platform. Use the Clawshot on the vines on the pillar nearby, and climb to the platform that sticks out from this pillar. Once there, look downward and use the Clawshot on the vines on the nearby stone pillar. From the platform there, use the Clawshot on one of the targets on the spinning gears that does not have a chain hanging from it. Make your way to the ledge with the door that does not lead to the center room (check your map). Go through that door, then swim underwater until you find a boulder in the wall. Use the Iron Boots and use a water bomb on the boulder and go through, then sink to the bottom and bomb the boulder there. Go through, and swim up to the surface, where there is a door. Go through.

Kill the Chu Worm, then use the Clawshot on the target on the ceiling. A hole will open below you, so move down the Clawshot chain (the screen will tell you how) and land on the platform directly below. Open the chest to get the big key.

Get a Second Piece of Heart

Get into the water and use the Iron Boots, then go through the door here. Go back the way you came, to the room with two gears, which will be above you. Use the Clawshot on the target on the gear above you, then land on a platform near the door that has water flowing from it. Go through.

Go past the waterwheel and go through the door at the end.

You will be back in the room with the rotating stairs, and a cutscene will show you a locked door under the stairs. Go around the path and find some vines that you can use your Clawshot on to get to the other side of the wall. After you reach the other side, jump on the nearest handle to rotate the stairs, making the water flow toward you. Then go through the door behind you. Cross the bridge and go through the door at the end.

After a cutscene, go into the water and then cross the bridge that you saw floating up. At the end, you will see a gate. Step on the button on one of the stone tiles in front of the gate to make it open. Use the Clawshot on the wall beyond the gate and kill the Lizalfos, then open the chest to get a piece of heart. Use the Clawshot on a ceiling target to get past the gate.

Go to the Dungeon Boss

Go back to the room with the rotating stairs. Go to the side and use the clawshot on the vines on the wall to go past the barrier. Then jump to grab the nearby handle, then jump into the water and swim to the central pillar. Unlock the locked door in the pillar, then fall into the hole. Use the Iron Boots to sink down to the bottom.

Morpheel

Morpheel will come out of the water. During the first phase of battle, use the Clawshot to pull out its eye, then hit the eye with your sword. There are bomb fish swimming around Morpheel. If you pull one toward you, be sure to move away from the explosion. Be careful not to get too close to Morpheel's tentacles or it will grab you and try to eat you.

When Morpheel starts swimming around, take off the Iron Boots and swim up to the eye, which is now in Morpheel's back near its mouth. Use the Clawshot to grab onto Morpheel's back, then attack the eye repeatedly. When you get knocked off, use the Clawshot again to get back on and attack the eye. Be careful of the stone columns that Morpheel destroys as it swims around. Repeat this until Morpheel dies.

After the cutscene, get the heart container and go to Midna to leave the temple.

Reach Zelda

After a cutscene, go to Hyrule Castle Town. Go to Telma's bar. When you try to go in, you get kicked out, but as you are leaving, Telma's cat Louise comes out to help you. Push the crate over to the wall where Louise showed you the attic window. Climb up and go into the window.

Climb across the rope. You can listen in on the conversations down below as you go. Carefully walk past the pots along the wall (you can pick up and put down the smaller ones) and continue crossing ropes until you reach another passageway. Go in.

In the room below, use your senses to see the poe and kill it. You will get a Poe's Soul. Talk to the creepy golden statue on the throne to meet Jovani. You can cure him if you collect 20 Poe's souls. He will open the path to the underground waterway for you. Jovani tells you how to get back into this hidden room.

Fall into the treasure chest that Jovani opened for you. Down below, you will slide down a ramp. At the bottom, go around the side and grab the ring on the chain. Go through the gate that opened, and you will go down part of the waterway. Kill the Skulltulas that are guarding the spiderweb. Then pick up a nearby branch and walk past the torch to light it. Use it on the spiderweb to burn it away. You can use the branch in the next room to light a couple of torches there, then use the burning branch to burn another spiderweb blocking the way. Follow the path to what seems like a dead end. Dig in the middle of the floor to reach a lower area.

Follow the path and go up the spiral stairs, crossing the ropes when you can't go farther. Go through the wooden door at the top.

Go along the ramparts and roof to reach the tower at the end. The wind will be blowing, so as you go north, be careful not to jump over gaps while the wind is blowing you southward. When you reach a broken wooden bridge, jump onto it when the wind blows it upward toward you, and dash forward to get to the other side before the wind dies down. After going through the window at the tower, drop down to the stairs and go up. Enter the room at the top.

Go to the Sacred Grove

After the cutscene, warp to N. Faron Woods. Try to go toward the temple. Kill the Puppets that trap the monkeys. Afterward, go up the way that you saw the monkey come from, and Midna will help you jump along the cliff. There will be some spinning bridges, so wait for them to line up in your direction before trying to cross. After you get past the bridges, cross the ropes but avoid letting the swinging logs hit you.

You will find a Howling Stone just past the logs. You can howl there to make it possible to learn a new sword technique later.

Go into the tunnel near the Howling Stone. You will reach the Sacred Grove.
