Hyperion Federal Police SKIN

typeID52438
Volume0.01 m³
CategoryPermanent SKIN
DescriptionThe federal Gallente Police Directorate traces its roots back to the original planet-wide police service of the Gallente Union on Luminaire. The Gallente Union Police & Public Safety Service (GUPPSS) was intended to operate as an "all union service", with its officers recruited and trained by the federal government of the Gallente Union. While retaining basic membership of the GUPPSS, and with some serving as federal police, most officers served in distinct units under the political oversight of member states. The concept broke down as the Gallente Union expanded throughout space and evolved into the modern day Gallente Federation. As outlying systems, planets and colonies chose to wholly organize their own police forces, the "Guppies" were increasingly seen as an anachronism by the heavily-populated and powerful member states of Luminaire. Ultimately, the homeworld states followed the example of the sovereign polities of the Gallente Federation and set up entirely independent police forces. The Gallente Union Police & Publice Safety Service became the Gallente Police Directorate, and found a new lease of life as a police force operating across Federation space with jurisdiction over federal domains. Detractors of this service still refer to it by the old nickname of "Guppies".

Hyperion Hunter's Quiver SKIN

typeID47501
Volume0.01 m³
CategoryPermanent SKIN
DescriptionHunters using arrows to catch their prey is a common enough theme in the history and legends of New Eden. A quiver of arrows ready for use is echoed in the stylized patterning of this nanocoating. The hunt for prey no longer involves arrows but the thrill of the chase remains as primal an emotion as it was for the hunters of ancient tales.

Hyperion Serene Mang SKIN

typeID49152
Volume0.01 m³
CategoryPermanent SKIN
DescriptionIn the Achuran way of living Serene Senism, the concept of "Mang" indicates a fearless will to enforce justice, fitting as an emblem on the powerful Hyperion. The Achura have a rich cultural heritage that is more diverse than outsiders may realize, the philosopher Sen Taysun spent much of his time travelling from monastery to monastery, climbing some of the highest peaks of the planet Achura (Saisio III) in order to experience the different traditions of the many contemplative orders of the world. Sen Taysun found particular solace and inspiration in the austere yet profoundly optimistic views of the collectivist monks of the Serene Mountain Monastery. The philosopher later developed a way of living that became popular with the middle classes of various Achura states, and provided a foundation for a developing rule of law that would succeed the warlordism that dominated Achuran politics.

Ibis Biosecurity Responders SKIN

typeID55533
Volume0.01 m³
CategoryPermanent SKIN
DescriptionCONCORD Biosecurity Responders are available to be dispatched on emergency call to any space stations, orbital infrastructure or other space-industrial locations in response to disease and pathogen outbreaks of all kinds. The challenges of maintaining biosecurity against infectious pathogens and other disease vectors in space-based infrastructure are multiplied by the cosmopolition and highly-interconnected nature of New Eden's space industry and trade networks. This long-recognised problem was for many decades dealt with by the empires, nations and corporations of New Eden in a rather piecemeal fashion, with disputes over jurisdiction and differing standards commonly arising. Following the Kyonoke Crisis of YC119, and the passage of the interstellar "Hope for All Act", CONCORD established Biosecurity Response Teams, and began to build up its capacity and expertise in the fields of epidemiology and disease management. To that end, CONCORD reached out to partners such as the University of Caille's Department of Epidemiology, Hedion University's School of Medicine, the Sisters of EVE, and the Society of Conscious Thought. Biosecurity Responders are a vital link in any effort to isolate and analyze infectious pathogens spreading through New Eden's space infrastructure, and crucially to prevent spread to planetary populations. Research to develop effective biosecurity methods, treatments and pathogen controls rely on the field research and data provided by the Biosecurity Reponse Teams.

Ikitursa All-Stars Casino Clash SKIN

typeID53023
Volume0.01 m³

The event is being heavily promoted by the Grand Tiegjon as an "All-Stars Casino Clash" with the likes of Zirud "Black Dragon" Mikkela, Parvir "Flame Dancer" an-Zoar, Nadia "Silver Bear" Tanaka, and Joelyn "Blue Tiger" Donalokos vying for the coveted Worlds Champion title. The Echelon Entertainment Station in Vellaine has long been a magnet for Mind Clash fans due to the presence of the prestigious Grand Tiegjon Resort at the heart of the station's large leisure district. Even when major championships are not being hosted, there is an active Mind Clash circuit and numerous conventions and exhibition matches are often being held there. Capsuleers are a significant demographic among the most dedicated Mind Clash fans, finding the complex, mentally-demanding neuro-holographic game endlessly entertaining. Naturally, for Echelon Entertainment, the attendance of large numbers of capsuleers at the Worlds Championships is always welcome due to their huge spending power.

Ikitursa Blackfire Steel SKIN

Volume0.01 m³
CategoryPermanent SKIN
DescriptionThe strangely fiery black heart of the Triglavian Collective's ships is echoed in the dark steel hull and red highlights of this nanocoating for the ship designs of the Abyssal civilization.

Ikitursa Liminal Crossings SKIN

typeID53314
Volume0.01 m³
CategoryPermanent SKIN
DescriptionNew Eden is littered with ancient mysteries dating from an age long before the renaissance of space travel, industry and warfare that has brought into being the four empires of the core systems. Many believe the EVE Gate itself to be the ruined remains of an old, forgotten crossing point to a place where the human species originated. Others consider it a trapdoor to unimaginable dangers or, at the very least, a warning of the terrible risks of meddling with sleeping secrets and hidden horrors that lie beyond the thresholds of space and time. The Sleepers, Drifters, Triglavians, and even the departed, perhaps dead, Jove are testament to the dangers of delving into the mysteries of deep time. Even though the civilizations of New Eden commonly see crossroads as an ancient mythological symbol of opportunity twinned with danger, as befits a place between the worlds, the promise of vast rewards for taking a leap beyond the liminal crossings of New Eden are ever alluring to capsuleers.

Ikitursa Metamateria Exotica SKIN

typeID54221
Volume0.01 m³
CategoryPermanent SKIN
DescriptionExperiments with Triglavian ship technology have included focus on the various metamaterials used in their construction. Taking advantage of the similarity of Triglavian hull coatings to the nanocoatings used with New Eden ship technology, a number of tests have been carried out aimed at achieving stealth effects in Abyssal Deadspace environments. One attempt at achieving a disruptive, stealth camouflage effect involved using exotic metamaterials to achieve a similarity to the exotic particle fields that can be found in certain abyssal environments. While the resultant nanocoating pattern is very striking, it is of very limited use as camouflage, with detection systems being quite capable of picking out ships using it even against the background of heavy exotic particle storms.

Ikitursa Niflhel Gildclaw SKIN

typeID52699
Volume0.01 m³
CategoryPermanent SKIN
DescriptionIn certain very ancient Minmatar legends, mostly retained in fragmentary form by the Krusual, there appears a fearsome creature known as the "Gildclaw". This monster is always represented as highly intelligent, extremely avaricious and armed with huge black claws that are gilded with shining gold, even while they drip with the bright red blood of its victims. The beast is said to live in the deepest and blackest realms of Minmatar mythology, for which one name that has been passed down through the ages is "Niflhel". The Niflhel Gildclaw may in reality represent memories of an extinct creature resembling a large cave bear that once lived in the mineral rich mountains of the Tronhadar Valley region of Matar. Perhaps ancient Minmatar miners encountered and fought with such a beast while retrieving gold and other glittering prizes from the depths of the endless cave systems of those perilous mountains. Whatever the case, the Niflhel Gildclaw legend is an appropriate analogy with the denizens of Abyssal Deadspace who make it very dangerous indeed to seek riches in the depths of that strange and dark space.

Ikitursa Singularity Storm SKIN

typeID52353
Volume0.01 m³
CategoryPermanent SKIN
DescriptionTriglavian ships use a nanocoating technology on their external surfaces that is sufficiently similar to that used with the ships of other races to allow adaptation of commercial nanocoatings for use with them. Some configurations of the nanocoatings produce striking effects due to the interaction between the surface coating and the unusual design elements of Triglavian vessels. One of these configurations takes a small amount of the excess radiation from the singularity energy systems of Triglavian ships and produces an electrical discharge on the surface of the ship. While eye-catching and unusual, this effect has a negligible impact on the performance characteristics of the ship.

Imicus Aspirant Explorer SKIN

With specialist probes explorers can also discover shortcuts allowing fleets to move across the New Eden by way of wormholes. Everyone wants to be friends with a good explorer.
