| Description | Noting the success of holoreels starring actors using Impetus's Glamourex neural booster, the Nugoeihuvi Corporation sought to develop a similar product, albeit one placing greater emphasis on boosting base sex appeal rather than a more subtle charismatic charm. The Heartsurge project was farmed out to one of the giant NOH megacorp's many subsidiaries, Bakkomolu Productions, which in turn contracted with a neurotweaker lab based in the Mivora constellation, on the edges of the Forge region. Progress on the development of Heartsurge was so promising that Bakkomolu commissioned the nanodesigner Jovaa Seriazic to produce a series of promotional ship nanocoatings. When Bakkomolu Productions was dissolved following a legal dispute with NOH's corporate rival Wiyrkomi, Nugoeihuvi may have hoped to generate a return from the new Heartsurge booster. Unfortunately, the neurotweaker lab had disappeared leaving behind only a scattering of circumstantial evidence that it was an Angel Cartel front all along. This theory was later confirmed when Heartsurge began to be used by producers of black market holoreel titles linked to the infamous Cartel. For his part, with Bakkomolu's dissolution creating a breach of contract, Jovaa Seriazic made some profit on his nanodesign work by selling the license for the nanocoatings to the Serpentis Corporation. |

The Caldari State Police found its niche in the interstellar nature of the Caldari State and is often used by the many smaller corporations and multistellar businesses that require a law enforcement agency that can operate across megacorporate territorial lines. The bulk of the State Police's income is derived from such policing and security work, but it retains Chief Executive Panel funding and the "Big 8" oversight that comes with it. Occasionally, the megacorporations may call in the State Police to resolve some matter they wish to keep at arms length. Actual disputes between megacorps remain the almost exclusive preserve of the CBT and its Audit Tribunes. |

Cherry trees are found on the home worlds of the four major empires where growing conditions and land permits. Popular as an ornamental tree for the mass flowering of cherry blossoms that break out as warm seasons begin, there are many varieties found across New Eden. Cherry trees of the Zakura Hansei family became popular with the Caldari, particularly as the hardier varieties were able to fluorish in the more temperate regions of the notoriously cold Caldari Prime. In the Caldari State, the large and splendid Zakura Bazei variety is often a feature of corporate parks and executive class gardens. The Caldari gave the name 'Zakura' to these blossoming trees and these varieties are known by that name as far afield as the ornamental arboretums of the Amarr Empire. In a historical irony, this family of cherry trees is actually native to Gallente Prime, and the cherry was not known on Caldari Prime until it was introduced some time after first contact with the Gallente. |

After various corporate permutations over the centuries, the business is generally known as SuVee ZenIko on the stock markets.
