Transporter Room

After you choose D-Team's Transporter fragment, you must escape the transporter room.

Seek a Way Out

There are thirteen cards scattered throughout the room. Pick up all thirteen.

Find the screen that says Place Card Here. Equip each card and use each one on the screen, until all thirteen have turned green on the back.

After you are done, a hologram book appears. Touch it to open it. Chapter 1 says that the [Wind] card = 0.

The blue console lights up, and five symbols appear in the air above the transporter nucleus.

Use a card on the blue console (the one that is flat on a table).

After this, go check the hologram book again. A new chapter is available. Read chapter 2 to learn about the mathematical relationship between the symbols on the cards.

After you read this chapter, a question appears in the book. If you choose Question, you will have to match the symbols to the numbers that they represent.

Chapter 1 said that the [Wind] card represents 0, so you already know that one. Chapter 2 shows some mathematical relationships. One of the relationships shows [Moon] * [Moon] * [Moon]. The result of the equation is [Three Moons]. The [Three Moons] card has to be a number between 0 and 12. Which numbers can you multiply three times and still get a result between 0 and 12? Here are some possibilities:
0 * 0 * 0 = 0 (Not the correct answer, because you already know that the [Wind] card is 0)
1 * 1 * 1 = 1 (Not the correct answer, because the result of the equation would have to also be [Moon])
2 * 2 * 2 = 8
3 * 3 * 3 = 27(Not the correct answer, because 27 is too big a number)

As you can see, the only possible answer is that the [Moon] card represents 2, and the [Three Moons] card represents 8.

Based on the other equations in the note, this means that [Two Moons] is 4.

Another equation says that [Human] * [Human] equals [Two Humans]. Which numbers can you multiply two times and still get a result between 0 and 12?

0 * 0 = 0 (Not the correct answer, because you already know that the [Wind] card is 0)
1 * 1 = 1 (Not the correct answer, because the result of the equation would have to also be [Human])
2 * 2 = 4 (Not the correct answer, because you already figured out that [Moon] is 2 and [Two Moons] is 4)
3 * 3 = 9
4 * 4 = 16 (Not the correct answer, because 16 is too big a number)

The only possible answer is that the [Human] card represents 3, and the [Two Humans] card represents 9.

Now you know that [Human] * [Moon] is 3 * 2, or 6, so [Human and Moon] is 6. You [Human] * [Moon] * [Moon] is 3 * 2 * 2 or 12, so [Human and Two Moons] is 12.

This gives you the following:
0. Wind card
1. ?
2. Moon card
3. Human card
4. Two Moons card
5. ? 6. Human and Moon card
7. ? 8. Three Moons card
9. Two Humans card
10. ?
11. ?
12. Human and Two Moons card

One of the equations is [Star] * [Moon] = [Star and Moon]. [Moon] is 2, so [Star and Moon] has to be an even number. The only unknown even number at this point is 10, so [Star and Moon] must be 10, which means that [Star] * [Moon] = [Star and Moon] must be 5 * 2 = 10, so [Star] is 5.

The unknown numbers at this point are 1, 7, and 11. The unknown cards are [Birdman], [Flower], and [Sun].

You can use cards on the blue console. Use each card multiple times to see different results. Each time you put a card on the console, one or both cards will shatter. This is a clue to figuring out the values of the last three cards. Try different cards multiple times and make a note of which values "win" against certain cards. Notice that the black symbol that appears on the console is always [Birdman], [Flower], or [Sun].

The cards that shatter are less than or equal to the cards that "win". Based on the results that you get on the blue console, you can figure out that [Sun] is less than [Flower], and [Flower] is less than [Birdman].

Therefore, the card values are:
0. Wind card
1. Sun card
2. Moon card
3. Human card
4. Two Moons card
5. Star card
6. Human and Moon card
7. Flower card
8. Three Moons card
9. Two Humans card
10. Star and Moon card
11. Birdman card
12. Human and Two Moons card

Open the hologram book and choose Question, and slide the cards to the correct values, then choose CHECK to confirm your answers. Then read the next chapters that appear.

After you read the new chapters, a monitor turns on. Look at the monitor and touch it to get Decagon Reels, then touch it again to get Tridecagon Reels.

Equip each one and use it on the device on the table to put both sets of reels in.

After this, check the hologram book again. There are two new chapters.

Chapter 5 says that the horizontal symbols that appeared in front of the nucleus need to be multiplied together. Those were Birdman, Birdman, Birdman, Flower, Human. This is 11 * 11 * 11 * 7 * 3 = 27951.

Go to the device that you put the reels into. Set the horizontal numbers to 27951, or [Moon] [Flower] [Two Humans] [Star] [Sun]. Then touch the crank to turn the vertical numbers.

Make a note of the vertical symbols, then touch the nucleus of the transporter (below the floating symbols). This will open a console on the nucleus. Drag the symbols to match what the reel device displayed in the previous step.

The correct answer is [Human and Two Moons], [Two Humans], [Star], [Sun]

This ends the room escape puzzle.
