How to Get a Specific Nature

Madam Celadon is a channeler in the Celadon City Pokémon Center. You can pay her to affect the Nature of wild pokémon you catch.

Madam Celadon is in the Celadon City Pokémon Center (in Pokémon Let's Go for Nintendo Switch). She is to the left of the nurse's counter.

What Does Madam Celadon Do?

You can pay Madam Celadon 10000 Pokédollars to make wild pokémon have specific Nature when you catch them.

How Long Does It Last?

After you answer Madam Celadon's questions, the effect will last for one day. It does not affect pokémon that you have already caught.

What are Pokémon Natures?

A pokémon's Nature affects how its stats increase as it levels up. For example, a Quiet pokémon's Special Attack stat will grow more quickly than normal, but its Speed will grow more slowly than normal. This can be seen in a pokémon's Summary, if you look at More Details or Judge, in the hexagonal graph. One stat will be red, and one stat will be blue. (If not, then it has one of the five Natures that don't affect stat growth.)

How to Answer Madam Celadon's Questions

Madam Celadon will ask about flower colors. The colors correspond to pokémon stats:

  • Red = Attack
  • Yellow = Defense
  • Blue = Special Attack
  • Green = Special Defense
  • Pink = Speed
First, Madam Celadon asks which color of flower you will water. This question affects which stat will grow more quickly. Then she asks which color of flower you will thin out. This question affects which stat will grow more slowly.
