Bombchus are a rare type of bomb that travels in a mostly straight line until it hits an obstacle or its timer runs out, whichever happens first. You can carry up to 50 Bombchus. There are only a few ways to get Bombchus in Ocarina of Time.

How to Get Bombchus

Buy Them in Hyrule Castle Town Market

There is a Bombchu Shop in Hyrule Castle Town Market that is only open at night. You can buy 10 Bombchus for 100 Rupees or 20 Bombchus for 180 Rupees, but the shop owner will never restock once they're gone.

Play Bombchu Bowling

Play Bombchu Bowling in Hyrule Castle Town Market for a chance to win Bombchus. However, you won't know what prize you can win in a given round until after you pay to play.

Collect Gold Skulltula Tokens

After you collect 40 Gold Skulltula tokens, you can talk to one of the humans in the House of Skulltula in Kakariko Village to get Bombchus. See the Gold Skulltula Guide for a list of all Gold Skulltula locations.

Buy Them in the Haunted Wasteland

After you gain access to the Haunted Wasteland and have the Hover Boots, you can reach the Carpet Merchant by following the sign in the flagpole maze of the Haunted Wasteland. The Carpet Merchant sells 10 Bombchus for 200 Rupees.
