A walkthrough of the steps to take when starting a new game of Pokémon Legends: Arceus.

Choose Your Language

When you first start Pokémon Legends: Arceus, you will be prompted to choose your language. You cannot change your language afterward.

Choose Your Appearance

Select the appearance that you want your character to look like from the eight pictures that are displayed.

Enter Your Name

Enter your character's name. It can be up to 12 characters long.

Confirm Your Appearance and Name

You will be shown your selected appearance and name. You can choose No if you want to change them, or choose Yes if they are correct.

Watch the Opening Scenes

After you confirm your choices, there will be cutscenes. During the cutscenes, You can choose whichever dialogue options you wish. Afterward, you need to help the Professor.
