Stardust You can use Stardust to power up a pokémon.
  • You get some Stardust whenever you catch a pokémon.
  • You get some Stardust whenever you hatch a pokémon from an egg.
  • Put pokémon into gyms. Every 21 hours, you can go into the Shop and tap the shield icon to get a bonus for each pokémon that you have in a gym. This bonus includes 500 Stardust per pokémon in a gym.
Pokémon Candy Use Pokémon Candy to evolve pokémon and power up its Combat Points.
  • You get Pokémon Candy when you catch a pokémon.
  • You get Pokémon Candy when you hatch an egg.
  • If you Transfer a pokémon to Professor Willow, you get Pokémon Candy.
Egg An egg has a pokémon inside. You can hatch the egg by putting it into an incubator and walking around with Pokémon GO open on your device. Eggs are randomly found at PokéStops.
Egg Incubator Put an egg into the Egg Incubator, then walk around with Pokémon GO open on your device to hatch the egg.
  • You automatically get an Egg Incubator when you start the game.
  • You can purchase Egg Incubators in the Shop with PokéCoins.
  • Sometimes you get Egg Incubators as a bonus when you level up.
Pokéball Throw them at wild pokémon to catch them.
  • You can find Pokéballs at PokéStops.
  • You can purchase Pokéballs with PokéCoins in the Shop.
  • Sometimes you get Pokéballs as a bonus when you level up.
Great Ball Throw them at wild pokémon to catch them. Great Balls are more likely to catch pokémon than PokéBalls.
  • You can find Great Balls at PokéStops after you reach level 12.
  • Sometimes you get Great Balls as a bonus when you level up.
Ultra Ball Throw them at wild pokémon to catch them. Ultra Balls are more likely to catch pokémon than Great Balls.
  • You can find Ultra Balls at PokéStops after you reach level 20.
  • Sometimes you get Ultra Balls as a bonus when you level up.
Potion Use a Potion to heal your pokémon by 20 HP.
  • You can find Potions at PokéStops after you reach level 5.
  • Sometimes you get Potions as a bonus when you level up.
Super Potion Use a Super Potion to heal your pokémon by 50 HP.
  • You can find Super Potions at PokéStops after you reach level 10.
  • Sometimes you get Super Potions as a bonus when you level up.
Hyper Potion Use a Hyper Potion to heal your pokémon by 200 HP.

Max Potion Use a Max Potion to completely heal your pokémon.
  • You can find Max Potions at PokéStops after you reach level 25.

Revive Use a Revive to revive a fainted pokémon and heal half of its HP.
  • You can find Revives at PokéStops after you reach level 5.
  • Sometimes you get Revives as a bonus when you level up.
Max Revive Use a Max Revive to revive a fainted pokémon and heal all of its HP.

Razz Berry Use a Razz Berry before throwing a pokéball to increase the chance that you will catch the pokémon with that pokéball.
  • You can find Razz Berries at PokéStops after you reach level 8.
  • Sometimes you get Razz Berries as a bonus when you level up.
Incense Use it to increase the chance of encountering wild pokémon. If you are standing still, you will encounter wild pokémon every five minutes. If you are moving, you will encounter wild pokémon every minute. The effect wears off after 30 minutes.

  • Sometimes you get Incense as a bonus when you level up.
Lure Module Use it on a PokéStop to increase the chance of finding wild pokémon there. All players will encounter wild pokémon more frequently at a PokéStop that has a Lure Module in effect. The effect wears off after 30 minutes.

  • Sometimes you get Lure Module as a bonus when you level up.
Lucky Egg Use a Lucky Egg to double the XP that you earn. The effect wears off after 30 minutes.

Pokémon Storage Upgrade Purchase this and you will be able to carry up to 300 pokémon. You can purchase the Pokémon Storage Upgrade in the Shop with PokéCoins.
Bag Upgrade Purchase this and you will be able to carry up to 400 items. You can purchase the Bag Upgrade in the Shop with PokéCoins.
Camera When you encounter a wild pokémon, you can use the Camera before throwing a pokéball to take a picture of the pokémon. You automatically get the Camera when you start the game.
