How to start a new game of Pokémon Quest for Nintendo Switch.

Choose Language

When you first start the game, choose the language that you want. You won't be able to change it later.

Choose Name

In the English version, you can pick a name up to 12 characters in length.

Choose a Starter

For your starter, you can choose Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Eevee, or Pikachu.

Start Tutorial

The tutorial begins after you have picked your starter. The tutorial will guide you through expeditions, power stones, cooking, PM tickets, attracting new buddy pokémon, and the shop.
