Tadarok Shrine can be found in the River of the Dead Waterfall Cave on the Great Plateau, near the eastern waterfall of the River of the Dead.

Shrine Location

Tadarok Shrine is located at -1082, -2187, 0129, within the River of the Dead Waterfall Cave, which can be reached on the east side of the eastern waterfall of the River of the Dead on the Great Plateau. The Great Plateau is south of the Hyrule Field Skyview Tower.

Fire and Water

Place the stone cube in the water, then use Ultrahand to push it to the other side, then pull it back to the near side again. Then stand on it and use Recall to get cross the water safely.

Take the metal cube out of the water and place it in front of the jets of flame that are melting the ice cube near by. If there is a partially melted ice cube, drop it in the lava to get a new, non-melted ice cube. Move this ice cube to the middle of the room, where it won't melt.

Then place the metal cube next to the ledge that has a treasure chest on it, and attach the ice cube to the top, but off-center, so that you can use Ascend to get on top of it and reach the treasure chest. It contains a Zonaite Shield.

Detach the cubes, and if there isn't a cooled lava platform in the lava, put the ice cube into the lava to make a platform. Use Ultrahand to move the platform to the far edge of the lava, then bring it back to the near side. Stand on it and use Recall to go to the other side of the lava. Then rotate a lava platform and put it in front of the jets of fire so a wooden crate can fall without being burned. Use Ultrahand to move the Wooden Crate past the lava to the central area. Then use Recall on the lava platform as before, to go back to the other side.

The battery in the central area is attached to a metal ball in the water. Lift this metal ball out of the water and set it aside so the water is no longer electrified. Place the wooden crate in the water. Then use the metal cube or a lava platform to block the jets of flame that are melting the ice cube, and move the ice cube to safety. Attach the metal cube to the ice cube. Take a lava platform out of the lava and attach it vertically to the top of the ice cube. Then rotate it to put the metal cube on the bottom, and the ice cube and lava platform on the top. Place the metal cube on the ledge above the water near the battery so that the ice cube is on top, safe from the flames. Then move the wooden crate under the metal cube, stand on the wooden crate, and use Ascend to get on top of the ice cube attached to the metal cube. Then climb up the lava platform that you attached to the top. From there, you can check on the dragon ring to get a Light of Blessing and complete the shrine.
