Makasura Shrine is on a high cliff that overlooks Kakariko Village, in West Necluda.

How to Reach the Shrine

At the southern entrance of Kakariko Village, there are some wooden platforms on the wall. Use Ascend to go up to each platform. (There are some construction materials on one of the platforms, but you don't need to use them to reach the next platform.) At the top, you will find the shrine.

An Upright Device

Use Ascend to reach the top of the ledge up ahead. You will find some Zonai devices that will become upright when you hit them with a weapon. One of the devices is attached to a piece of metal. Activate the device, then place it at the edge so that the piece that sticks out on top is hanging over the pit. Then climb up the metal and glide from the top to the far side.

Next, you find a scoop and some orbs behind bars. There is also another device attached to a piece of metal, which is not behind bars. Activate the device and place it up against the set of bars with an orb. Then climb the piece of metal and you can drop down on the other side of the bars.

Place (don't attach) the orb in the scoop, then attach the Zonai device to the other end of the piece of metal, then hit the Zonai device to activate it, which should throw the orb over the bars.

Before you leave this area behind the bars, move the piece of metal up against the far wall, where you can climb up and open a treasure chest. It contains some Fairy Tonic.

You can use Ascend on the angled walkway at the top of the bars to exit this area.

Go through the bars that opened (put the orb into the floor switch if the bars aren't open) and take the piece of metal with the scoop on it. Attach this metal piece to the other metal piece, which you used to reach the area behind the bars earlier, so that the scoop is at one end, and the L-shaped metal piece is at the other end. (The scoop piece by itself isn't long enough.)

Place the combined metal pieces at the edge of this platform nearest the end of the shrine, so that the scoop end is farther away from the end of the shrine than the non-scoop end. Attach a Zonai device to the non-scoop end, stand in the scoop, and use an arrow to hit the Zonai device. You will be launched into the air and can glide to the end of the shrine.

Check on the glowing object there to get a Light of Blessing.
